I liked it. I mean, there is a few ways it could be improved but it was fun overall.

Sadly I wasn't able to play in Co-op because I have no one to play with

They should make the next story mode wifi-compatible so you can play Co-op through Wi-Fi

I found it pretty entertaining. But I did find the replay value to go down unless you are in co-op mode.

I really liked the Subspace Emissary in Brawl. It was an original story line in a Super Smash Bros game rather than just playing Classic or Adventure mode. It kept me interested on what kind of level I was playing next, and what characters I would be given in the early levels. The later levels were cool in that you picked a set number of characters and when one character died, he was dead for the rest of the level and you had to finish with what characters you had left.

Subspace Emissary was really fun. It was fun playing with my brother and beating the game.
It was really repetitive though and could have improved a little bit. It was a lot better than SSBM
adventure mode. Overall I thought it was pretty fun and cool.

I was not a fan of it,
Since most of Nintendo's heroes don't talk, I found the story to be really simple and shallow. Also, the stages were boring and had no replay value, I struggled to make it to the end.

It's strange because I think Brawl in an amazing game, I just didn't like the Subspace Emissary.

I liked the idea of it, ad the story behind it, but the side-scrolling got a little bit long and the enemies were all too easy to smash around. I think the next Super Smash Bros. will have a much better adventure mode.

It was good that they mashed a more longer adventure mode but with alternate paths you can take.  And I heard that Super Smash Flash 2 will have a flash of shadows mode that's similar to subspace emissary.

It was very fun to play. I enjoyed it a lot playing it with my brother. Would have been nice if I finished it with him before the game broke in half.

Yeah I am really glad that ssmb finally put a real story mode in the game, unlike the past 2 version. I have a great time playing it with a friend, and yeah most of the stickers are useless.

The Subspace Emissary was incredibly epic! I have played through it about 4 times now, and still get choked up when characters sacrifice themselves for their friends, like Donkey Kong punching Diddy out of the way from Bowser's trophication gun, Ness pushing Lucas out of the way from Wario's trophication gun, as well as when Samus rescues Pikachu, and then later, Pikachu returns the favor when Ridley grabs her. And when Lucas and Pokémon trainer are grabbed by Galleom, Lucas PK Thunders him to break loose from him, but it sends trainer and him plummeting to the earth below. I can't help but get teary eyed as Lucas Grabs Pokémon trainer and braces them both for what seems to be certain doom, but at the last second, Meta Knight grabs them and flies them safely to the ground.

Some parts did confuse me, such as what King DeDeDe was doing with those pendants on the stolen characters, and why he was stealing from Wario when I thought DeDeDe was in cahoots with him, but at least it adds up later when you see Ness and Luigi revived later (as well as Kirby). What helped clear things up for me was reading the plot summary (after beating the game) online. The plot summary explains more things that was meant to be in the game but couldn't fit. I think the prequel story would have made a good beginning cut scene to help people understand things better. For those interested in reading the plot summary, here is where I read it: http://super-smash-bros.wikia.com/wiki/Adventure_Mode:_The_Subspace_Emissary#Plot

The first time I beat it, I got lost a lot, and certainly died a lot, but had a lot of fun. Second time I did it was with my friend who wasn't great at the game, but she had fun playing it (even if I annoyed her when I tried teaching here the patterns for dodging Tabuu's instant kill move). Third time around, I played just to unlock the paths I didn't the previous two times so I had all the cut-scenes. Fourth time was my challenge run of beating the game on Intense without ever using any continues (I'd either reset or quit whenever I died). That took a long time to 100%, with the Subspace Bomb Factory being the most aggravating, but I finally finished it. When going back through areas to get the missed secret items, it was hard finding the perfect team, but I found Lucas to be invaluable in most areas just because of how strong his PK attacks were. Marth was good for when you get crowded up on since counter could usually instant kill things.

I still play SSE a bit just to increase score and get more stickers; I'm currently missing just 1 sticker and it's the last thing I need to be completely done with the challenges in the game (I refuse to use any of the hammers to unlock anything). I have tried sticker factories but they are less fun than SSE, so I just keep fighting random monsters and bosses in SSE with increased sticker chance on my characters.

Subspace Emissary, huh? Yeah, I really liked it. It reminded me of old school beat-em-ups crossed with platformers... but with all the neat characters from the game. It was a really interesting mode to add to the game.

The story was surprisingly well done too. It was interesting how interwoven things were and how they worked in all the characters the way they did. It was really neat.

The Subspace Emissary is a funstration (Fun + Frustration) because it gave me fun and frustration (Tabuu) Yeah he was really hard but once you get the hang of it and I mean dodging his sorta probably vibrating attack you can beat him without dying.

When I first played Subspace Emissary, I thought it was really cool. Although the enemies can be a bit annoying, (How can you NOT hate the Puppits?) its a very good side-scrolling beat-em-up, and seeing as HAL developed this game, I think we've come to agree that this is a cool feature in SSBB.

The cutscenes were really well done, and there's one that I never get tired of watching. Co-Op can be helpful but bad at the same time. If you're inexperienced and you're given the title of Player 1, you'll hear "Continue?" more times than when you finish a stage. Not to mention, the Emissary themselves are pretty powerful. If you're one to soak up hits, that won't be wise here, as the Emissary has some good knockback power, along with the obstacles you face. Your saving grace in all this is you have unlimited continues, and you can raise your stats with the stickers you've collected, but it doesn't apply outside of Subspace Emissary.

All in all, I give Subspace Emissary a 10/10, and I swear, if they don't have Return of the Emissary or some kind of Story Mode in Super Smash Bros. 4, I just might Falcon Punch somebody.

The subspace emissary was quite a neat little idea. But one question was why did they make the great maze so annoying and why can't sonic shatter tabuu's butterfly wings like he did in the cut scene????
