Most of you weren't part of the old vizzed board, heck some of you were probably still in diapers when it started but I've revived the old vizzed board and it's accessible here:

Note that vizzed actually had 2 boards before this archive but the one before it was hacked and never recovered and the one before that was an EZBoard.

It looks so diffrent from this one.

Anyways, interesting stuff here. I'm going to find the most embarrassing stuff posted there and rub it in people's faces.

Also, I was planning on working with Acmlmboard 1.8a by applying some security patches and mods I found by people like Tuvai and Ice Man. Do you think it's worth while?

it's really too bad I wasn't part of that board.... oh well, at least I've been around for 99% of the current one.

the_casualty : No I don't really think it's worth playing with old code.  Even the original code that this current forum evolved from I think is greatly outdated.

hackerman : RGR has only been around for about 2 1/1 years and that board ended nearly 7 years ago.

Natas : It's just an archive of the old vizzed board before we upgraded to a newer system many years ago.

Oh wow, that brings back memories! It is kinda weird to see so many names of people that no longer post here... or anywhere that I know of.

Whoa. Never thought I would see that. Also, I like the old Vizzed logo a tad better because red thunder is epic.

Did it have nearly as big amount of staff or anything?

I thought it was cool then, and I think it is cool now. Truly one of the marvels of the past. Hard to believe it's been so long since you started on the board.

catfight09 : The staff now days is way bigger because the board currently is way more active than the old board ever was.

Elara : I sometimes really wonder what happened to some of the old users who completely disappeared off the internet.

vizwiz123 : 3 reasons for the new banner:
1. Smaller in size
2. Quality in my opinion is better and cleaner
3. Although I came up with the concept of the original logo by telling the guy who made it how it should look, I didn't create it so I therefore did what I always do and made my own

I went through some forums, and found the last post.

"Finally, I close this board completely once and for all.
Vizzed Board shall rise again, but with a fresh/clean start.
Forever this board will just be a memory of what Vizzed once was..."

I soon after thought what my reaction would be if that happened to the board as we now know it.

In the end, I think that board was pretty successful, and should be treasured.

legacyme3 : Yeah there was a lot of history behind that board and that board actually had more daily posting activity than this board (until recently anyway, the past 6 or so months of this new board have blown away every version of vizzed board).

We wont ever have to worry about having a fresh start though.  Since I'm the only developer, we wont ever have to worry about swapping board systems, I'll just modify the one we already have.

.....Whoooooa!  Hold on a sec.  I don't remember registering on Vizzed that long ago.  I thought I discovered it back in 2006.  I remember that evening because I was at my parents' house around Thanksgiving and I remember signing up because I wanted to look more into the custom item designs in the item shop back then.  I don't recall knowing about Vizzed before that.  So I thought it was odd when David summoned me here saying I was part of an older board way back in 2003  The places I remember signing up in that era were the original Acmlm board and Anime-US, and Acmlm's place was the very first Acmlm-type board I ever registered on, in September of 2003.  It says I registered at Vizzed on Sep. 27

I really don't know how I heard of Vizzed 8 years ago.   And my last activity there was August 7 of 04.  Now I'm curious to know if there are other boards I don't remember I signing up at .

Getting past that, it can't really be said I was a member there since I never made a single post.  Oh well.
