Do you swear.. or maybe your friend does?

I cuss sometimes like if I stab my toe into something or fall into something.. or certain situations I guess its just life but I really need to work on it.
My friends and even people I don't talk to much anymore cuss and swear and use every name in the book now to.

I do it often. I usually swear when I'm either angry or for comedic effect. However, I know the time and the place to do it.

I try not to swear a lot, but I do end up cussing sometimes. When I'm in a bad mood, especially when I'm angry, I'm more likely to swear (like most people).

When I hear people swearing constantly, especially when it's totally unnecessary, in regular sentences or using swear words as common adjectives.. Frankly, it makes them seem rude and stupid.

I rarely do. The only swear words I use commonly is S**t and damn, but other than that I don't swear unless I'm in a bad mood or I hurt myself. It just comes out when I don't mean to.

I curse at least once a day. Sometimes out of anger....sometimes when I'm upset, and sometimes when I don't realize it.

i do but only when alone,in my head ,and when with my cousin(only one of them i trust not to rat me out)

Bintsy : yes,insanely often.over here theyre practicaly adjectives.(either if we view something in a less than favorable light or if we are joking,its not like "im going to the f*****g fridge for some f*****g tuna.")
I never used to but when everyone dose it kinda becomes the norm.
I know 2 people who dont,and one is a minister.

ussually only in a joking context, like for example. if my friend walks up to me and says "i just got you engaged to justin bieber" then id probably be like "FFFFFUUUUUUUUCCCCCCC-------" or if im yelling at someone in a forum (not on vizzed mind you, because i respect website's given rules)

Usually I dont around girls, unless I'm really mad. But around my friends I swear if I can't find the right word.

Yup, like a sailor. Much like thenumberone described it, it is more like adjectives. Usually when I am displeased, and the most commonly used word begins with F, and half the time it is in a joking manner. I know when not to swear though.

Well... a little bit. Mostly for comedic effect. I swear quite a bit on a message board called Jul; that's mostly because nobody takes anything seriously there and every post is a joke.

Not often. I try really hard not to in general, but occasionally it might slip.

Sometimes i swear and don't even notice.

I swear like a truck driver. I just don't swear online much. I also avoid swearing when my dad's home since he'd bloody get mad. I like using British swears quite a bit. They are good ways to swear without getting in trouble with my dad, too.

I mostly swear playfully. I don't swear as much in public, but at home... Yeah. I don't say swear words every other word, though. No point.

I only swear when I'm with friends, or I'm in school (LOL). I usually only swear when I'm displeased with something, or for comedic effect.

As far as real life goes, if I am alone and am frustrated, I may curse out loud to myself. Or in my head. With friends, it's only for comedic effect, and it's not harsh profanity words. Out in the public, such as a classroom or such, I almost never ever swear.

If a joke I'm telling involves swearing or something like that, I swear.
But I have yet to swear in front of my mom or someone important like that.

Only when I tell jokes. I don't swear in front of others besides that.

Yes, I swear. I think I started because I hate it when I make a mess in the microwave.

I swear, but only at school and around my friends. I usually swear when I am angry or to emphasize something I am trying to say. 

I don't swear and when something happens to me that I feel strongly against, I swear in my head. I was brought up that way, I swore once and got a long lecture from my parents saying that girls swearing is vulgar and no boys will like that. blah blah = =

However, now I can think for myself, I actually do agree with them. I don't really like how one of my friend throw the F word around so much... There are so many other ways in the English language to express yourself. Also if you want to swear at someone, wouldn't you try to use very complicated words so that the person won't understand what you are saying?

I try to avoid swearing at all times if i have to i atleast censor it.

I try to avoid using profanity at all, but with how much of it I have heard because of my part time job and certain TV shows, I do use a word or two.  Usually I will curse when my (bad) mood has hit a boiling point.  Every so often a word will slip past my tongue when I do not expect it.  It is very rare for me to swear out loud and mean it, but I often think of such words.   

I swear like a sailor in real life, sometimes. I think I swear less than before, now, though. 

But nevertheless, I do swear. =P

Swearing usually makes one look undisciplined, unrefined, and ignorant. 
I usually only do it when under extreme circumstances, otherwise, it basically stamps you as an idiot.
We all must have done it one time, but repeatedly doing it is not usually the best thing to do.

I do it mainly for comedic effect I.E when someone says something and its totally unsettling or they're trying to get that kind of reaction out of you. Depends on the audience that I am speaking to. I wouldn't curse in front of my father, like ever. Some times I use minor ones with my mom that she uses on occasion (mostly for quotes) but I never curse with adults and I generally don't use any kind of negative exclamations at all, not even words like crap or dang it. With my more rowdy friends or friends who use them a lot I will tend to use them but I don't incorporate them into my speaking generally, more-over just averagely. If I'm with people who don't curse and do not like to hear curse words, I respect that and will not curse in their presence. I certainly don't use them in between every single word in a sentence, but I will use them for comedic emphasis when appropriate. However, I do have a fairly large vocabulary, and I do like to utilize it rather than stretch out curse words to mean a million different things when I could just say the correct word and be understood more clearly.

I actually swear a little bit too often. My main issue is I have a potty mouth in real life, so converting to simple talking in posts, and not swearing every two seconds is a challenge some days. Now, if I have to swear, like now, I f***ing censor it, so I feel a little better.

I have a pretty strict no-swearing policy with myself. Despite all of it that you see around yourself these days, I've been able to hold back swearing. I think that without having the need to cuss, it gives you a bit more free thought than using the same seven words in a sentence. And it gives you impression you're more educated. Just my two cents.

i used to never swear because i used to sound too posh when it came out but now even without thinking abotu it this is rare but occasionally the odd swear word slips out and it seems to be happening more when im talkign to teachers which is wierd, my music tech teacher is reallllly annoying though he makes it almost impossible not to swear and im nto one to really use bad language :p

I usually try not to swear, but my friends do swear, but I don't mind that much and I have noticed that they swear more than me.

I only curse at certain times like if I stab my finger with a nail or fall on my head. Once that happens I curse like a sailor.

I swear fairly often. That is one of my bad habits that I just can not seem to break, I do see a problem with it but I just can not seem to break the habit.

I try not to but I do still. Like when I am really pissed off. I curse when I hurt my self, or mutter to myself cursing when it a really bad infliction, or when me and my bro might be fighting Sometimes it'll slip when it has to do with slang phrases...

Its hard not to swear when other people keeps ,using the words that slur out of their mouth.

Unfortunately, yes I do swear. However, I am trying to work on not swearing as often, especially when I am angry/frustrated.

Yes. =| I don't TRY to. I can control myself when around certain people like teachers or family members, but not so much around friends. >.> I'm especially bad at censoring myself when I'm angry. >.< I need to work on that. 

I do swear when the time is right! but sometimes it bothers me when every word that people say around me is a swear word.
