I cuss sometimes like if I stab my toe into something or fall into something.. or certain situations I guess its just life but I really need to work on it.
My friends and even people I don't talk to much anymore cuss and swear and use every name in the book now to.

I try not to swear a lot, but I do end up cussing sometimes. When I'm in a bad mood, especially when I'm angry, I'm more likely to swear (like most people).

When I hear people swearing constantly, especially when it's totally unnecessary, in regular sentences or using swear words as common adjectives.. Frankly, it makes them seem rude and stupid.

I swear like a truck driver. I just don't swear online much. I also avoid swearing when my dad's home since he'd bloody get mad. I like using British swears quite a bit. They are good ways to swear without getting in trouble with my dad, too.

I don't swear and when something happens to me that I feel strongly against, I swear in my head. I was brought up that way, I swore once and got a long lecture from my parents saying that girls swearing is vulgar and no boys will like that. blah blah = =

However, now I can think for myself, I actually do agree with them. I don't really like how one of my friend throw the F word around so much... There are so many other ways in the English language to express yourself. Also if you want to swear at someone, wouldn't you try to use very complicated words so that the person won't understand what you are saying?

Swearing usually makes one look undisciplined, unrefined, and ignorant. 
I usually only do it when under extreme circumstances, otherwise, it basically stamps you as an idiot.
We all must have done it one time, but repeatedly doing it is not usually the best thing to do.
Swearing usually makes one look undisciplined, unrefined, and ignorant. 
I usually only do it when under extreme circumstances, otherwise, it basically stamps you as an idiot.
We all must have done it one time, but repeatedly doing it is not usually the best thing to do.

I wouldn't curse in front of my father, like ever. I actually swear a little bit too often. My main issue is I have a potty mouth in real life, so converting to simple talking in posts, and not swearing every two seconds is a challenge some days. Now, if I have to swear, like now, I f***ing censor it, so I feel a little better.

I have a pretty strict no-swearing policy with myself. Despite all of it that you see around yourself these days, I've been able to hold back swearing. I think that without having the need to cuss, it gives you a bit more free thought than using the same seven words in a sentence. And it gives you impression you're more educated. Just my two cents.

The only time I would swear is if I got REALLY hurt.  Or if I get angry and no one is arround I let it loose. I swear a lot, probably more than I should. Honestly I don't really care that much because words are just that....words. Although it is annoying if every other word a person says is a swear word. That just makes them sound less than intelligent.
I swear a lot, probably more than I should. Honestly I don't really care that much because words are just that....words. Although it is annoying if every other word a person says is a swear word. That just makes them sound less than intelligent.

I'll only swear under my breath- in japanese since no one knows what I'm saying. But I don't swear around my mom like that since she knows lol. Funny thing is, I know I get it from my parents because my dad will cuss to be funny and my mom will cuss in 2 languages to be funny AND when she's angry. I'm glad I have my grandma around to keep me straight xD

Most of the times I do swear but mostly around my friends, if I swear not around my friends then that will only mean that I am mad about something and that is the only way that I feel that I can vent on whatever I am mad about. It gives you a sense of relief of your chest and let you feel calm in the end because you got it all out through words and not through the violence of fighting. It just my opinion but it is a great idea for me and maybe if you don't swear you should try it one day.

   Yes, mostly when I'm mad. The only time I'm mad is when I play games. So I cuss a lot when I game. I also do sometimes for affect on my storys. Like Patrick Star said. They are sentence enhancers.

Well i learned cussing at an early age, (Having an older brother). But i remember reading somewhere that cussing can in fact reduce anxiety. So i don't do it all the time but when i'm seriously angry i can be a total cuss bomb. But cussing has a key knowing when where to do it. Something my brother hasn't learned yet Lmfao.

Words are words and they have their uses. I regularly use swear words as expletives or as an expression of anger or frustration. I'll also use those words as they were intended. You know, for instance, if I needed to go to the restroom, I typically don't say 'I need to make poopies', if you catch my meaning. Although, I have uttered those exact words in my adult life, I am ashamed to say.

I also have an array of non-swear expletives that I can use when more vulgar words would be inappropriate. Such as the word 'Bollocks' instead of the F-word or the term 'jackhole' instead of A-hole or a certain word relating to a female dog. A lot of my friends find it hilarious when I start tossing out my alternate expletives. I don't know why. o.o
