In the sense that you are asking about, yes - I swear. However, I don't consider it as such because my parents raised me to believe that there was no such thing as a swear word. And personally? What's so bad about these words? You ask anybody this and they'll usually reply that they are "offensive." Why are they offensive? I have yet to meet somebody who can answer why a word is offensive.

Hell - Refers to a location created by a religion. Used in slang as a way to describe something really bad.

I swear pretty often but my friends do to so I guess it is not a problem. I dont swear in front of people who are not my friends though

Yes i swear, but i only swear when i really mean it, other than that i will say somthing like "on every thing i love" stuff like that.

I cuss so much, if I had my own live talk show, they would run out of censors. I swear at all most anything, not for comedic effect.

I swear so much. But I don't do it in front of kids or parents because I don't want to be disrespectful or making myself look stupid. But I do my best not to swear or get angry a lot.

I don't curse on a regular basis. If I do, it's when someone has gotten me so upset or annoyed that I tend to burst out in curse words. Not like a sentence full of curse words but I do tend fly of the handle if someone keeps pushing my buttons and they don't stop. Something I'm trying to work on.

I currently am starting to swear a bit more and more every day when I get older. I believe its starting to become a habit. Nothing that I'm going to spew out to family members or the public, but more on private.

I'm one of those few people that doesn't swear at all. I think there might have been twice in my life that I cursed as a kid, but then again my parents had strict views on what qualified as being a cuss word.  And the impression they gave us kids was so strong that I actually CLEARLY remember the first time I swore. LOL  I was on a jungle gym outside my 5th/6th split classroom, when I dropped my brand new coat in the dirt.  I utttered, very quietly, "crap!"  Though there was NO ONE around me, I felt this huge surge of guilt and I hated saying it.

If my students curse, I ask them not to.  Not only is it against school policy, but it's also not indicative of the professionally appropriate speech our students should be using and practicing.

The only time I really curse online is if I'm writing a role play and that curse word just happens to be a part of a character's persona.

I do swear outside of the forums lol.   I used to never swear, all the way till high school my lips were a swearing virgin.  But things happen, and in public schools systems and certain step parents that just don't say anything else it's hard not to get the nasty habit.   I try to keep  it out of the work place and the posting place, and a few other places, but unless I get frustrated by a game or something usually I am safe :p

yes i swear but its only when i really mean something and i also use it to threaten people because thats the only way in life you are going to get people to leave you alone sometimes.

Like a sailor lol But only when I am alone, if I am in the company of anybody else I don't swear as much it still happens just not as often. I am really not sure how it works because I never try not to swear in front of people, it just kind of happens.

I don't swear a lot. And the worse I do say are not REALLY swear words. Like Hell, Dammit, and Ass.

Ass is a body part. A little bit of a lude slang term of what a butt is, but still a body part nonetheless.

And dammit, well, it's just pretty much a slang term of "dang it".

"Bast***" is pretty much the only legitimate swear word I may use. And I usually use it in a joking manner; never as a direct insult.

Any other words, especially the F-bomb, I hardly, rarely ever use in actual speech. Maybe a little bit more when speaking online. But never really in a vocal conversation.

I have never considered bastard (sorry if this was against the rules or whatnot you can censor if so), I mean it just means that a child was born either without his/her father or the parents were not married when the child was born. I am one, my mom and dad were not married and they are not even together anymore. And if only everyone could see me alone, you will find that my favorite word is the f word lol XD

Bintsy : Yes it is a real bad habit of mine but not publically. I’ve actually been trying to curtail my language in recent months as part of trying to re-dedicate myself to not only finishing straightening myself out but also on a spiritual level.

So far unless I have a bad day it’s been working pretty good. I just hope that it is something that I’ll be able to stick to.

I don't consider swear/curse words to be any different than any other word. I use a word if that's the word that I want... if I feel it conveys the proper idea of what I'm trying to express, then I will use it. I don't really think it's a big deal at all. I don't get why people get so bent out of shape about words.
