I don't even use Facebook as it is, free or not, I won't it. Seriously, Facebook is like handing over your privacy to the world. It's bad that I am able to get someone's name, age, phone number, know their husband, know how many kids she had, address, and where and WHAT she worked at and what she does for her job. That was in less then four hours of just searching data on the person from just Facebook. Granted it's not like that for every single person but still. =/

No. It's not like I use mine for much anymore, anyway. I basically just talk to my friends on there. If that ever happens, I'm deleting my account. I'll just text, call and email my friends. I don't need a social network site to keep in contact.

Facebook would not do that anyways. If Facebook started charging money, people would migrate somewhere else. It's as simple as that.

The reason it is so successful is because it is free. WE, the millions of users, are the product being sold to advertisers - not the Facebook service itself.

I don't use facebook enough in the first place to pay to use it, however, for the sake of keeping in touch with my family and close friends I probably would, but even then I doubt anybody but my sister would ever feel like paying for it.

I don't really use facebook as it is, So if i had to pay for it I'd certainly stop from using it.

As far as i'm concerned Facebook is just a way to stalk friends/family/enemies online and to push advertisements in your face.

Plus it really doesn't take that much effort to pick up a phone or send an email to try and meet up with friends does it.

Would I pay to use facebook?   After much thought about this subject, I have come up with the answer of " no frigging way!"   My reason for this is because I do not hardly use facebook now, more or less if I had to pay for it.  I feel facebook is just a scam that gets everyone to stop doing what they grew up doing, having actual conversations with actual people.  I know that this is the information age, but I do not see why people can't dial a phone or write a letter instead of posting/sharing or texting.  This is the reason why I believe that, in the next 15 to 20 years, children are going to learn how to type instead of write.  When I pick up a pen and paper and write my name down, my grandchildren are going to see that as a magic trick.  Facebook allows people to stay in touch over the span of many miles, but it also allows people to find you no matter where you are at.  Blocking them only works if you notice them sending you a friend request.  Sure you can change your privacy settings, but many complaints have already been issued about facebooks privacy policy where they didn't secure some information.
