I think that Whalord is the most pointless Pokemon ever.

The most pointless Pokemon ever is Metapod. It's just a cocoon that can only know tackle, harden, and string shot. It's completely pointless.

I don't know but the most pointless pokemon in red rescue team is ditto. It can only use transform once. And if you go to a different floor your not the same pokemon you transformed into.

I think the most pointless Pokemon is Caterpie. It's attacks, string and tackle are weak and useless, making this Pokemon the most pointless.

In my opinion, Magikarp is the most useless pokemon ever. It knows splash and is too weak to do much of anything else. Until it becomes a Gyarados that is. Then it is amazing.

I think the most pointless pokemon is trubbish. I mean whats the point of haveing a pokemon thats a garbage bag and then when it evolves it is still pointless. A giant pile of trash along with the broken trash bag.

Relicanth. It has no purpose, besides pairing with Wailord to unlock the Regis in Ruby and Sapphire.

Chaosflame : In theory, Magikarp is the greatest Pokemon of all time. He knows splash, but most Pokemon trainers do not know that you need to slap the other opponents with the Magikarp. If you smash enough objects/opponents into submission, you will succeed.

the most pointless pokemon, in my opinion, is Stunfisk! just look at it laugh... and its cry sounds like it has gas... ugh.

The most pointless to me is Smeargle. It can only learn one move. Then when you use that move it changes, but it's hard to get it to the move you want/need.

I believe the most pointless is possibly Smoochum, it's completely useless, often forgotten, and quite frankly, is a frustrating road block that puts a happiness dependent bump in the road on a way to a useful Psychic/Ice type, Jinx.

Articuno. I honestly don't see what it's point in pokemon lore is. Other than the fact it's good against dragons, its not altogether anything special.

I think that Magikarp is pretty useless but its amazing when it evolves its really hard to level up though

Unown is pretty pointless considering the fact that it only knows hidden power, it's weak, and doesn't evolve at all.

Pretty much any pokemon that doesn't have an evolution. (not counting legendaries/ubers)

Dunsparce. Dunsparce can go rot in a hole, they are absolutely useless.

GAH, most of my ideas are already taken... T_T Oh well, I'm going with Zubat. All our lives would be so much easier if we didn't run into hundreds of them in every single infernal cave in every Pokemon game.

Most useless pokemon is Chancey. Its near impossible to catch, the move soft-boiled is a joke, and the Pokedex bio stating that it brings happiness and joy is a way of making fun of the guy who spent 8 hours hunting one just to watch it run away.

Besides Farfetch'd, who has the worst base stats out of every Pokémon, I'd say Krickitot. It learns almost no good moves, and even its evolution fares no betters. And it's bug type, which never has a good movepool and is weak to fire and flying.

Oraeus : I have a Blissey in my party (Evolved form of Chansey) and it, in all honesty? Kicks some serious @$$. 284 Special attack, that isn't bad for a pokemon that literally has 680 HP, 417 Special defense, and while it only indeed has 134 normal defense, it knows Barrier, so that's fixed. That thing is a freaking tank; especially when you equip it with left overs. It's recovering 42 HP a turn. I've literally only taken at most, 200 Damage with my Blissey in a wifi battle so far (This includes being hit with a fighting type move -- it's weakness). Also with it's passive Serene Grace, it is really nice when Icebeam has a much higher chance of freezing the target, which Blissey can indeed learn Icebeam. It's sooooo not useless if used properly. I personally, think Ditto is the weakest pokemon: It will never EVER be stronger then the pokemon it's fighting on a one on one battle UNLESS it is a higher level MAYBE. Although, I suppose it is really good for making clones of other pokemon in the day care.

I would say Metapod and Kakuna are pointless. When you catch them wild the only move they know is Harden. Completely worthless and can't learn anything else until they evolve. Them and Dunsparce. I spent hours training one and waiting for it to evolve since it looks like larvae. It never evolved

I dunno I would probably say Metapod,  I just don't like it and its pretty useless.

I've not played many Pokémon games, but how about ash's power to somehow beat the elite four then go to a new place and have like level 3 Pokémon

I have to disagree with most all of you (obviously not vizwiz123 and BNuge), the most pointless is Dunsparce. My reasoning being that 1: its a filler from Jhoto and was super rare and even when you could capture it would only be worthwhile if you were trying to complete your Pokédex. 2: None of it's natural moves are good, and the last one it learns is flail at 63. Who would want that? Also the only HM it can learn is strength making it ineffective as an HM slave. 3: A lot of Pokémon are still useful for EV training, but Dunsparce yields only 1 hp EV.

Anyone and everyone can use this. (that would be if it showed up )

  I think Golden and Magickarp are far most the worst water-type pokemons ever.

Unlike all of you, I adore Poison types and Garbodor has that so disgusting and weird vibe to him that I love him. Unfortunately, his stats and his ability suck. If he had better stats or a better ability I'd use him. Doesn't even need both to be good in my opinion.



Now the most pointless? Luvdisc, it is a weaker crappier version of Amolomoa.

Dunsparce is completely useless. I mean has anyone honestly ever put it on there team, because its only purpose is something you have to catch to complete the Pokedex.

I gotta say Metapod and Kakuna are extremely useless Pokemon. I get the meaning of them. The are little worm bugs Pokemon at first, they enclose themselves in a metamorphasis pod to become their final bug evolution. However, the process of having them is almost as useless as Magikarp. Pretty much the only thing they can do is harden and some stat decreasing attacks. So frustrating.

I say that Wobbuffet is the most useless Pokémon.

All it does is stand around waiting to get pummeled by a bunch of random attacks.
I mean, it can't really fight back, because it only really has counter and mirror coat,
and for them to be useful you got to get hit with the right kind of attack and picked
the proper one for the attack you were hit with.

legacyme3 : Pokemon myths are based on real life myths. Articuno is an Arabian ice phoenix and besides it's a huge bird that can shoot ice from it's beak and cause snowstorms just by being there and that's only 2 of the things that make it an amazing legendary

The most useless pokemon... ugh magneton. I hated that thing! It's weak, and is 3 magnemites put together.

In my opinion, it's Smeargle and Unown. Smeargle can only learn 1 move after Sketch and Unown is just used to spell words.
