Besides Farfetch'd, who has the worst base stats out of every Pokémon, I'd say Krickitot. It learns almost no good moves, and even its evolution fares no betters. And it's bug type, which never has a good movepool and is weak to fire and flying.

Oraeus : I have a Blissey in my party (Evolved form of Chansey) and it, in all honesty? Kicks some serious @$$. 284 Special attack, that isn't bad for a pokemon that literally has 680 HP, 417 Special defense, and while it only indeed has 134 normal defense, it knows Barrier, so that's fixed. That thing is a freaking tank; especially when you equip it with left overs. It's recovering 42 HP a turn. I've literally only taken at most, 200 Damage with my Blissey in a wifi battle so far (This includes being hit with a fighting type move -- it's weakness). Also with it's passive Serene Grace, it is really nice when Icebeam has a much higher chance of freezing the target, which Blissey can indeed learn Icebeam. It's sooooo not useless if used properly. I personally, think Ditto is the weakest pokemon: It will never EVER be stronger then the pokemon it's fighting on a one on one battle UNLESS it is a higher level MAYBE. Although, I suppose it is really good for making clones of other pokemon in the day care.

I would say Metapod and Kakuna are pointless. When you catch them wild the only move they know is Harden. Completely worthless and can't learn anything else until they evolve. Them and Dunsparce. I spent hours training one and waiting for it to evolve since it looks like larvae. It never evolved

I dunno I would probably say Metapod,  I just don't like it and its pretty useless.

I have to disagree with most all of you (obviously not vizwiz123 and BNuge), the most pointless is Dunsparce. My reasoning being that 1: its a filler from Jhoto and was super rare and even when you could capture it would only be worthwhile if you were trying to complete your Pokédex. 2: None of it's natural moves are good, and the last one it learns is flail at 63. Who would want that? Also the only HM it can learn is strength making it ineffective as an HM slave. 3: A lot of Pokémon are still useful for EV training, but Dunsparce yields only 1 hp EV.

Anyone and everyone can use this. (that would be if it showed up )

Unlike all of you, I adore Poison types and Garbodor has that so disgusting and weird vibe to him that I love him. Unfortunately, his stats and his ability suck. If he had better stats or a better ability I'd use him. Doesn't even need both to be good in my opinion.

I gotta say Metapod and Kakuna are extremely useless Pokemon. I get the meaning of them. The are little worm bugs Pokemon at first, they enclose themselves in a metamorphasis pod to become their final bug evolution. However, the process of having them is almost as useless as Magikarp. Pretty much the only thing they can do is harden and some stat decreasing attacks. So frustrating.

I say that Wobbuffet is the most useless Pokémon.

I mean, it can't really fight back, because it only really has counter and mirror coat,
and for them to be useful you got to get hit with the right kind of attack and picked
the proper one for the attack you were hit with.

That's useless.

I didn't say Magikarp because of course I won't hate a Pokémon that evolves into a useful Pokémon. Now back then, I would say Rattata or any other Normal Pokémon, but most of the normal Pokémon can learn varieties of types. Actually most of Pokémon that don't evolve and have a horrible move set are useless.

Ditto in emerald since you can't breed shinies as easily but everywhere else it's actually useful (shiny egg breeding and some glitches in gen 2 and 4). Smeargle in gen 4 is useful for glitching. Poochyena is the most pointless Pokémon EVER. Why? Because he's so weak he has terrible moves, growl and tackle YEPEEE Wow great job poochyena, you're awful. Poochyena sucks even though he evolves at level 18, I don't wanna hear it because he sucks all the way until then, so if you catch him at level 5 that's 13 levels of being brutalized by other, stronger, more appealing Pokémon.
Poochyena is the most pointless Pokémon EVER. Why? Because he's so weak he has terrible moves, growl and tackle YEPEEE Wow great job poochyena, you're awful. Poochyena sucks even though he evolves at level 18, I don't wanna hear it because he sucks all the way until then, so if you catch him at level 5 that's 13 levels of being brutalized by other, stronger, more appealing Pokémon.

Alec ze Raptor : I actually have to disagree with you greatly there. Snorlax and Blissey are normal types yet they are very useful Pokémon. Snorlax is just an utter beast. Wide variety of type coverage it can have. I mean it can learn many different types. Its a tank, high hp and relative defences. Not to mention Rest. Omg that move is easy win. Blissey has the highest hp in the game can also self heal, add seismic toss and you will slowly die.
Back on topic with the most useless Pokémon. Has to be weedle. At least catterpie evolves into a Butterfree. Beedrill is crappy and useless. However many people also pointed out how sucky unknown are and I agree. Theres too many crappy Pokémon to choose from really.

I think shellder is an useless pokemon because of the design ,

In my opinion your all wrong every Pokémon  can be useful if u take the time to train it for example with my magi carp (considered to be most useless in series) I either use a TM and battle or I enter double battles and keep it out so it can learn new moves then I go train it

Firstly I don't see how Wailord is pointless it is an extremely good pokemon Secondly I had to think about this because Magikarp is a really bad pokemon but it is amazing when it evolves and then I thought Ditto and although it is horrible for battles it is really useful for breeding I finally came to the conclusion that the most pointless pokemon ever is Smeargle you may be able to get a diverse move set on it but that doesn't make up for its horrible stats and basic uslessness
