I'm socially liberal. I don't think anyone can call people gay, straight, or bi. I think human sexuality is much deeper than that and we can't slap labels on people. Sex, to me, is fun and enjoyable. I say I think it's like basketball. You can have one person shoot free throws by themselves, you can play 1 on 1, you can play 2 on 2, you can play outdoors, indoors, at night, during the day... You get sweaty and you have to work a little bit but at the end everyone high-5s each other and you all go home for the better.

I'm relaxed about sex. It's a good time.

All of my really close friends know how pure I am (despite some things that I may say ). I guess I was brought up believing that sex is best when you're in love with the person. I can't picture myself making wuv to someone that I don't love.

I'm perfectly fine if someone I love had sex before (or so I keep telling myself). I'm a very personal type of person - I like one-on-one everything and I'm not too fond of large groups (you won't catch me in a three-way).

I think that sex is very special, but the whole one night stand thing is disgusting. You should only have sex with someone that is very special to you.

It is part of life, a cause for celebration and enjoyment. Humans are highly sexual and social beings, it is one of the driving forces of our species. In my opinion it should not be "hush hush" and hidden among adults and adolescents.

Physical intimacy is what you make it. It can be simply gratifying, pleasurable, enjoyable. Or with the right person it can be extremely romantic and a way to show your affection. And it can also be regarded as sacred, powerful, exhilarating, liberating.

Don't take this post too seriously, because I'm young and I haven't learned much about the topic yet, but the way I see it, sex is supposed to create an intimate physical, emotional, and mental connection between an adult whose body is ready, and their significant other. I believe THAT is how it is intended to be. But I also don't think that there is a problem with casual sex or sex between non-married people. Nuff said... But in all seriousness, I've had all kinds of sex and I actually found that although it can be special and great and all those good things, in the end sex is sex. Too many things go back to sex and its kind of lost its value. All I got to say is I think sex should be special, and you should always use some kind of protection.

Sex is sex. It is not super special but can be fun and a great way to spend time with that special someone. Or that special for one night person, whichever.

(Special) Sounds the most agreeable to me. I believe it's something you do when you're in love someone. I don't think it's used just for your enjoyable pleasure, a game or entertainment. I was going to choose the "getting married" one instead, but special sounds more of my taste.

A lot of people would probably think I should have no voice in this one. As I have stated in a different thread, I am 24 years old and have not experienced this yet. I have been with my fiancée for over five years, and we are waiting for marriage. But I'll voice anyway. I agree with those who said that it is different from person to person. For those who think it is nothing might not have found someone who makes it special. I might be wrong though. In my opinion, it should be special, which is why I waited for so long. I said "Special" because it is about two people that are in love and want to go deep into their relationship on a count of how much they love each other. I was going to put down "Not to be talked about," but then I realize that there are a lot of people that talk about sex. I've heard it anywhere.  Sex is a natural thing and not a bad thing to do (if you are a rapist, that's bad).

I believe that sex should happen only between a married couple however that is usually not what happens. I believe that it should at the very least be the goal everyone to abstain from sex until marriage and last as long as you can. Sometimes, urges get the best of you which can be unavoidable but the goal should be abstinence until marriage. Especially since sex is risky and the life of a potential human being hangs in the balance every time you participate and there is also the risk of sexual diseases, so I believe that it should not be done freely. And if it does reach the point where you do so while unmarried, at least let it be with someone you love since urges can and do get the best of people.

While I do believe that sex is meant to be something special between loved ones, I more so believe it has to be for the married. Yes, this is my faith being added into the equation. In the Bible there is often the phrase "be fruitful and multiply." In Genesis 1:28, it is God's call for mankind to rule over the rest of His creation. That is what I see as the practical purpose of sex. I do believe that it is meant to be something special, but it has to be for a married couple.

Sex to me is a blessing. However, with the right responsibilities; it can be made a God send.

I've always thought that sex is the ultimate thing to do with someone that you can say that you love and trust, truely. There are alot of people out there who does it just to be doing it, but I believe that they will learn eventually, their probably just young and blissful!X}  I, personally haven't committed such an act yet. I think sex is a beautiful and wonderful thing, and is indeed special. I also think there is a difference in making love and sex. I find the word sex to be kind of trashy, and making love seems to be the right way to describe something you do with the person who is most special and wonderful to you. I also think that it should be waited on too, so that you may find if you truly love the person and that person truly loves you back and wants to share something special with you.

I think it's pretty overrated to be honest. I mean, I know it can be a great stress reliever; but it can also bring a lot of it too. Especially when you know, you accidentally get someone pregnant. Not like that baby isn't gonna go away.

I find it pretty unfortunate that so many people cheat on one another and have affairs simply because of Sex. That's not an real relationship if that's the only reason why you are together; each others' bodies.

It's going to sound biased coming from me since I'm a virgin & have a religious background. Long story short, sex is something that should be seen & treated as special between two people. It can be fun, but if that's all that it's treated as then how do you know when you've found the right person? Having sex is the closest two people can physically get, & should be done between people who trust & respect each other. If sex is done numerous times for one person & they later on find someone that they really like/love, how can they let this person get closer? They've let other people touch them in ways that cross the line & now they have this person that they truly love doing the same thing. What's the difference? How can you prove that you love this person when you've let other people go as far as physically possible before your loved one? Having sex should be like saying "I love you & that's why you are the only one I want to be this close with.". If it's not then there's no way (atleast not one that I can find) to show someone you truly love how much you mean to them. Again, this sounds biased because of me as a person, but that's what I really think sex boils down to.

Coming from personal experience it is way over rated and should be kept for that special someone. I have had as much intimacy as about a normal 30 year old. You know why I lost my virginity at twelve? Because someone told me that I wasn't cool and by doing the dirty  I thought it was a right of passage as a man. Well by keeping it in your pants until you are married is being a true man. A player isn't a man he is more like a predator who usually goes for the doe eyed girls who are easily swept off their feet. Trust me if people make fun of you in school just disregard them even if it makes you "lower on the food chain" or less popular.  If you are a virgin be proud of it, shout it to the world!! Girls will respect you more often and you will find a really great women eventually if you be honest and tell them. But be careful there are Boy/Girls, Men/Women who will go out of their way and try and seduce you just so the can take your virginity away don't give in no matter how bad the temptations are. Also you will not get girls pregnant and you will have 0% chance of STDs unless something very unfortunate happens like a blood transfusion, you start shooting etc.. I admit that I have played girls but after maturing a little bit I faced my fears and apologized for what I have done. If you are active in sex be sure to wrap up so you don't end up paying child support for eighteen years. Anyways save it till you married and I respect every single one of you who are virgins and if you aren't it isn't a bad thing just be careful you can ruin girls lives and your own in a instant.

Sex can cause a lot of problems like unwanted babies, stds and tons of drama. If you don't want to ruin peoples lives I suggest internet porn. Save lives, helps the economy if you pay for it and you can remain disease free and drama free. Plus you can cheat all you want. Sex is a great feeling and people can have sex for whatever reason they choose, it's not for me to judge. I personally believe sex should be shared with someone you deeply care about as a way to show deep affection for the person. I believe that sex is something special and I always have (well at least since I had an interest in it).
Before having sex I saw it as a very big thing like it was the height of being together with someone. Since I have been with many sexual partners and every time I've tried to make it special however that isn't easy for one night stand as usually he or she is just looking for a quick 'shag' and then we never speak again which has been very emotionally draining in the past. In the past couple of months I've slowed down and stopped having one night stands and it's returned to something that can be special and that I can really enjoy with someone I have actual feelings for. I make each time as memorable as possible and I've always been complimented by past girlfriends and boyfriends for being respectful in bed and making each time something special.

Honestly? I believe sex is something you should only have with one person.
