The worst type of nightmares I have are ones where my family members die. I always wake up feeling horrible, but also extremely relieved that it wasn't real. Moreso than any other type of nightmare.

In the past six months or so I have had recurring dreams about my dad dying or my little sister dying in a car accident. Last night I had one that was particularly disturbing because the car accident was my fault. It's really starting to bother me.

I used to have nightmares like that when I was younger. Then my parents became a lot meaner to me as the years went on. I don't know what changed them =(

Now my nightmares primarily involve my girlfriend breaking up with me, or my grandmother falling off the roof (she did once, and almost died)

nightmares suck, i used to have them all the time, everything from my dad chopping off my mom and siblings arms, to driving off a cliff with my cousins, but that was when i was around 15-17, eventually i just started blocking out my dreams, so i cant remember them, now however, 10 years down the road, i wish i hadn't done that, because i want to dream, i miss remembering what i dreamed about

Annette : Ya thankfully most my nightmares happen when I'm about to wake up for the day. Usually I just get to cleaning the house then. If it is in the middle of the night I pull out a manga and my mp3 player.

I still do sometimes think about it, but I have had nightmares about my family members dieing, usually its of my mom, or grandparent(s), or brothers. Usually dreams are just jumbled up experiences and our daily concerns thrown together in some unexpected way. I was told that recurring dreams (the exact same one) usually hold meaning, but usually not what you would think. The only nightmares I have with family members is when they're the ones hurting me. I don't think I've ever seen someone besides myself get hurt in a dream...hope I'm not too paranoid of my own well being.

I used to have nightmares like that. But it would be so outlandish in my mind back then for my family to be less than invincible that I would either wake up right away or realize it was a dream.

Yes i might have nightmares if my family die and i really luv my mom dad brothers and sister and my pets too my cow cats dog fish i don't ever in my life want then to die but my dad is 51 and my mom is 46 i am 11 my sister is 17 my older brother is 26 and my little brother is 9 but i'm am sure that my dad will not die cause we will take care of him and we will!and also i have dreams about them but happy dreams not nightmares will sometimes!
