I just played Pokemon puzzles and the sudio is getting messed up. I am also going to try a few other games just to see if it is not within that game only.

When the game closed i kept hearing the audio from the game. I do not know if it is just my computer or if it is within the game. However, whoever does the roms might look into correcting the problem.

I have a possible solution for the sound problem.

If it's still running after you close the game, close your entire browser. If it still doesn't stop, open up "Windows Task Manager" using Ctrl+Alt+Delete. Go to the Processes tab and look for a specific file based on the browser you were using.

For Internet Explorer, look for "iexplore.exe"
For Mozilla Firefox, look for "firefox.exe"
For Google Chrome, look for "chrome.exe"

If you see any of them, right click on it and click "End Process."


This basically shuts down any part of the browser that didn't close when you closed it. If the sound is running, but the browser looks closed, then there is probably something little running in the background. End Process can end that.

This is basically the alternate, but riskier, version of "End Task." Ending a process is riskier in general because if you end the wrong process (especially a system process), it can cause trouble with the system. Ending one of the three processes that I listed should be fine though. It's always worked for me.

By pokemon puzzles, which game do you mean--for GBC or N64? I've encountered this problem with using one of the Java emulators and I had to restart my internet for the audio to close, but I've never experienced it with the plugin. So it might be an issue with the emulator rather than the ROM.

I will try it the next time I do it.
