I would definitely be a Fire type Gym Leader. Arcanine and Charizard are among my favorite Pokémon. I could also add a Torkoal and a Quilava or Typhlosion to make it an almost full team. Gym Leaders never have full teams.

I would also use fire types. charizard, arcanine, ninetales, blaziken, typhlosion. Since gym leaders never have 6 pokemon.

I would go with Water types. They're one of the only types that I can see compromising a team without it having too many flaws.

Just to be different; but at the same time imagining myself saying my Pokemon's name____ as I send him out, I say Steel types. There are some cool ones: Scizor, Steelix, Skarmory, Aggron, Metagross, & Lucario. We all could be mixed types with awesome parties, but that's not what gyms are like.

I would go with a Steel/Ground/Rock combination if I could, or just Steel. Electric is my second choice, since 5th gen added a few more Electric types that aren't weak to ground.

Well yeah... I prefer fast pokemon anyway, and the fire is a given if you want to cover that particular weakness. You could have a Charizard in the gym, since even though it's not technically a dragon type, it can learn some dragon moves. I would probably have a Charizard, but what about you? Would you be open to that, or would you go strictly only those that have the dragon type?
Also, thanks! Dragonair and Dratini are my favorite dragons, although I do love Salamence too. I stared at your sig for about 5 minutes too! XD I like it almost as much as my own! BTW, what's your favorite dragon type?
