I don't think life sucks. It's sometimes unfair, but it doesn't really suck.

Life doesn't suck. Life is fun, adventurous, and full of joy. I don't "deal with life" as you put it, I attack life and have a ton of fun doing it.

If you think this sucks, try some new things. Maybe join a group or try volunteering to help people. Get a new pet, travel, find a new job. Make some changes and things will get better.

Unlucky you're not having a good time. But life is meant to be pure fun. Call me a hedonist.

Why do you think life sucks? I dont think it does at all I enjoy life alot

I love life, there is stress in life, but stress is something that helps our character to show what it really is and it also improves it. Life is filled with many wonderful things. I personally enjoy soccer, basketball, tennis, bowling, pets, relationships, and the list is too long. You just have to see that there is more than just one thing to life

thing1 : Well this is interesting in trying to decide which is the best way to go with this one… I guess the obvious start would be to tell you that you are still young and that what ever life may be throwing at you, you can certainly find a way to cope with it.

I myself have been challenged repeatedly when it comes to struggles in life and particularly the last year has been really trying because I have not been able to work at my norm and that has been an adjustment and frankly hard to deal with at times when you are so use to a certain routine and a certain way in doing things. Despite the challenges that have come my way and, the feeling at times that it’s one thing after another and so on with little or no period of calm in between I always remember that there is someone whom may be dealing with harder hardships.

Even with all the stress that I have had to deal with in life I do not believe that life sucks… It can certainly be a downer at times depending on what you may be going through but, life is what you make of it kid and often times it is how you deal with struggles and adversity that makes your life better in the long run and, allows you to become a stronger and better person in time if you allow it. It’s part of a maturing process that we all go through at one time or another.

What ever it is that may be challenging you, I wish you nothing but the best of luck that things turn around for you…

Life is like a rollercoaster ride : Going up and down all the time. All you can do is try to find your path, walk it and live the way you want to live and you will find true happiness and satisfaction !

warmaker : i'm 17, white, and in a group home for something my lawyer told me to plead guilty to that i definitely did not do for a lighter treatment: Get put in a group home until my dad and Satan's ex-wife: my step-mom felt safe with me back in the house. i can't do crap! i get up in the morning, do eat, do chores, and then go to school. during the day, i go to school. in the afternoon, i come home from school, read all day, do chores, and go in the backyard for 30 minutes to play a sport i really suck at: basketball. in the evening, i watch the news, eat dinner, take a shower, and read some more. then i go to sleep at 9 o'clock. on the weekends, i have to clean up the yard, go to therapy at noon on Saturday, then when i get out, we basically ride around town for 2 hours, and they call that an outing. i get to play a PS2 for ONE hour on Saturday and Sunday. The rest of the the weekend, I'm either told to read, or watch the news because we only have 20 $h!++y channels, and half of them are the news. when there is never anything on.
Now please tell me my life doesn't suck!!!!!! please tell me my life doesn't suck.

thing1 : Your life doesn't suck. From your post, you appear to have shelter, food, legal representation, education, probably a flush toilet, you're in an industrialized country, you can come on to Vizzed to complain and moan and play games, you have a PS2 to play for an hour.

Sure, you have to work, you go to bed early, and you dislike Satan there. I dig it. Life is hard. But would you trade what you have now to go life in Somalia and starve to death by age 5? Or get your arms chopped off in a race war in Rwanda? Or live in a country where, at 17, you're either working 100 hours a week in a mine or you're at a factory where you expect to lose limbs at any moment so you can go live with 20 people in a room the size of a garage?

Big picture: You're doing okay. Sure, things aren't good. What are you doing to improve yourself? You get to go to school. School is the ticket. Work hard at school and you can get yourself the heck out of there. Get yourself into a college, get some loans, and work hard and you will succeed. I know it's not fun now and you're probably laughing at what I'm saying while thinking I have no idea what I'm talking about but I'm older then you and I've seen more. You get therapy. Try to use it. Really try hard to get better and earn trust back so you can get some freedoms. Show you care, show you're improving yourself, and work hard at life. Life isn't meant to be easy. It's not like you can just goof off and succeed. You have to TRY.
