Totts was thinking of getting into white collar boxing at work, it seems ever increasing in popularity and a good way for the gyms to make money.

I don't want this to be a case of another million dollar baby, and admitedly Im terrified, but totts is no slouch when it comes to getting off the couch, so could I be a 50 Cent honey? oh know that just sounds so wrong.

back to the post, can you box, what titles do you have and what are your views on the sport?

I don't box but my brother and my friend are pretty serious about it. Sometimes they will go on my trampoline, take off their shirts, and box. It's really weird to watch.

I boxed in the Marines. It's a tough sport that requires a tremendous amount of discipline and training. You have to train a lot before you're good enough to really compete and then you have to keep up on conditioning.

I boxed as a welterweight at 145 lbs and I did okay. I lost more than I won but I enjoyed it. Boxing is a mix of quick feet, quick reactions, strategy, and conditioning. It always hurt the three days after a bout if it went long enough but I gobbled Motrin and used ice packs. Luckily I never had any serious head damage or major busted noses.

I love all the martial arts and I enjoy training. Nothing gives a person confidence more than being able to close with a stranger and beat them to a pulp. It's a safe environment in the ring and you're not a bar so everything's fine.

A lot of people don't like it. It takes a while to get used to sound and feel of getting your face punched.

No, I've never boxed before. I imagine it to be a very serious sport that requires a lot of strength and stamina, which I don't have.

Hi, punchy! I'm just kidding.

Here's what I think about boxing; I think it's not fun, because it's basically a male-dominated sport full of ranting people who just wants to fight
legally.

Totts : Meh, I can box, but I've had training in Ninjutsu before I moved on to Kung Fu San Soo; I'd recommended Tai Chi chuan for you, or else get into Kickboxing.
