I rather call it Earthbound, because to me it sound better, and the name title actually said Earthbound on it. Also grew up calling it by Earthbound to. Plus you fight aliens.

As a true fanboy of the series, I like to call it by it's Real name, Mother.
I say Mother, Mother 2, Mother 3. The casual. EarthBound seems.... strange to me. It takes away the fun and the love.
