In my high school AP US History class we would debate all the time and me and my classmate Joey would always be at each other's throats, but we were always buddies when it was over. I remember when we were debating once and he literally went off and yelled at me. I just sat there and smiled because I knew I was getting under his skin. All of the girls in the classroom were shocked that I let him talk to me like that, but it was all good fun.

I am going to say the complete opposite of the people above me: I hate debating.
I'm not a big talker at all because, this may sound strange but it's the truth, I hate talking to other people. They always say something that offends me and I get mad and they get stab, hit, whatever. It my temper. I have a hard time trying to control it. If someone pisses me off, I just can't help but to hurt them. In a way, it's kinda fun though. =)

I'm not so into debating. I have my own opinions and also I respect the opinion of the others, so I don't feel the need to debate.
But when I have to debate for lessons etc, I do that mostly in my language. I'm way more fluently in greek than in english, so I rarely debate in english.

I don't like having debates. But I can't avoid school debate events. I've never enjoyed it specially the feeling that you're trying to corner a person, and that you know that they have a point but you have to turn a blind eye on it if nobody else notices the point, so that your argument would win.
