Hard to say, but I want to take a different approach...

One of my favourites has to be Béla Lugosi, a Hungarian actor from 1917 to late 1950's. Ultimately, he just has a presence on-stage and on-screen that is difficult to emulate. The only time I've seen it adequately covered, in my opinion, was by Martin Landau in the 1994 film "Ed Wood."

I got 2 favourite actors: Johnny Depp and Tom Cruise.
They are both terrific actors and I always like to watch them. Tom Cruise is great in thriller movies like War of the Worlds and Minority Report. Johnny Depp is probably the most variable actor of the world, he has played every kind of role there is. Either the mysterious Edward Scissor Hands, the great Captain Jack Sparrow or the strange Mad Hatter, he's always great.
