So she flirts, she stares, I like her. All good right? Except one thing, she's my friends girl and it looks like nothing will stop them. We hit it off a long time ago and she tries to flirt with me. I just feel bad when ever she does and I kind of have to shoot her down. I mean she is nice but I don't feel right flirting with another guy's girl. The other thing her sister (a twin) likes me ALOT too. They both have made it clear and both have boyfriends. I do not know what to do. Everything feels right but the guys, two of my best friends, are in the way. What do I do?

Ok, well I am not ruining anything. I was saying if anything they are ruining their own relations. I am not being a jerk off either... I just said I like her. Never said like I want them both! So please try not to offend people.

If both of 'em are taken, don't steal them. If they flirt with you that much, they'll flirt with you just as much if they become single.

Maybe you should try talking to them about it. If you really don't want to be involved with them because they are taken, tell them that. Ask them to stop flirting with you. If you have to, be blunt and say "You have a boyfriend, please stop hitting on me." I know that may seem weird, but if you want to avoid hurting either party, that's the best thing to do.

u cant do anything about it 4 the time being just let it be.dont ruin your friends relationships and cut the flirtin cause one wrong spoken word and it can lead 2 lots of trouble

billythekidmonster : I will offer you some advice people all too often and all too unfortunately forget and that is Real true friends are hard to come by and romantic relationships tend to come and go… I think what you should do is tell this girl that you don’t want to go and hurt your friend and if she isn’t decent enough to think of his feelings then she’s probably not worth it to begin with.

I know that this may seem a bit harsh but I know what it’s like to have someone not be on the up and up with me and it’s not a good feeling especially if you genuinely care for the person and have feelings for them. I never had a situation where I was in a relationship and had a friend that either flirted with a girl I was with or vise versa but I do know what it is like to really like someone and have a good friend also like the same person. Lets just say it wasn’t fun fighting with my friend at the time and the sooner we realized that it wasn’t worth risking our friendship for a girl everything pretty much went back to normal. (This was many years ago, we were barely teenagers).

This same friend that I speak of is still a very good friend of mine many years later and has stood by me through a lot of my ups and downs in life. That is truly valuable to have a friend that will stick by you like that.


You’re young so you may not truly understand how valuable friendships are when you have real friends but that is something that one learns in time as they mature. I would simply stand by your friends and tell the girls if their decent they’ll break it off with these guys if they don’t want to be with them. If they have any consideration for their feelings they’ll do the right thing.

The right thing for you seems to be to steer clear of getting in the middle of something and just simply enjoy being young. You don’t need the drama… I speak from experience here. If I could I would go back to my youth in a heartbeat and correct my mistakes but that’s another topic for another time. Just remember True friends are hard to come by, relationships especially at your age come and go. Don’t jeopardize a good friendship kid, you may need a friend in time and if you don’t have friends that you once may have had because of mistakes you might have made then, when you need a friend and don’t have one to be there to either listen to you or rely on for something, that can truly be an empty feeling that you don’t want. Trust me.

Well you can't help if taken women find you attractive, however I do think you're right for not making a move. Clearly, you are a true and real friend that would betray a friend by doing such a thing. I think you should remain friends and stay that way.

There are plenty of stars in the sky to choose from...I'm sure you'll find someone eventually that is single and is attracted to you the same way the two twins are. I've been in a situation like yours....I never acted upon it, and were still friends. I think it's best that you not get involved (in that way) with someone else's girlfriend especially when it's your friends girlfriend.

Are you sure you'd want to get with them even after they become single? What if you were in that boyfriend's position and found them looking for trouble like that with some other guy? :/
