Yeah. I really liked the idea of vizzed more then I like the actual bored. If anything I won't be socializing with on here anymore because of the lack of freedom. Still will be using the Retro Game Lounge cause it is awesome. But the boards are ridiculously lame and I relate to very few people on here.

I agree its a Very tiny bit too family friendly, but hey THE SITE IS FAMILY FRIENDLY.

Davideo7, the site owner, wants the site this way and so that's how it will remain.
It's his site and if he wants it to be family friendly that's how it will be.
If people dont like it then honestly they can either stfu or gtfo.

As for the mature section, it really just ended up being the talk about sex section.
I dont remember if that was the exact reason for it's downfall but whatever, I dont care really, it was a slow section anyway.

Get over it. I personally prefer it to be family friendly and I'm far older than the average member. It's nice to have a place like this to go where every other word isn't someone swearing or flaming or talking about sex. If you don't like it then you are free to use what parts of the site you want to.... Vizzed will continue to grow without needing to lower its standards to appeal to people who only want to swear.

There are reasons why its family friendly here is the reasons why:

1) Advertisers
- They basically pay for the site and you have to follow their guidelines in terms of content. Now sure you can have mature content and still have advertisers but to a certain degree, if we are talking porn then your either limited to no advertisers or porn advertising only. Advertising plays a major role in this site, without it the RGR would probably not exist let alone this site. It costs hundreds a month to keep up you want to jeopardize that for some cuss words and naked women?

2) Audience
- Most people on this site are children. Cussing and posting mature stuff just makes you look bad it really does. Its not cool to do you might think it is but when you grow older you will realize that is just not the way to socialize. It creates fights and makes everyone including vizzed look bad in the process.

4chan might have more members and porn but you know what? That doesn't mean anything when it comes to websites. I don't care how many members or traffic a site gets, if its littered with garbage and doesn't have a purpose they have failed at making something useful to society. Vizzed has a purpose and that purpose is to offer free RG's online in a family friendly environment. 4chan looks like it was made by a 2 year old who stopped working on his site in the 90's. If that is what you want, then go migrate there.

Calling Vizzed lame and saying it sucks f!$@ing balls makes me wonder why you registered in the first place.

It sucks nuts you can't swear on vizzed. 4chan does have a lot of garbage on it. But that doesn't stop the fact the site pretty much pays for itself. Adult 18+ doesn't mean porn in anyway. I signed up for a friend who said the RGR is amazing. But the board was lamer then Stephen Hawkins legs. And as I can see it indeed is. Why would I want to act like an adult over the internet. This is the one place where it doesn't matter. Anyway. 324I see that this place is full of Nazis so I'll take my leave.

why can't it be a compromise.... you can act like an adult here.... and act like an idiot elsewhere.

If we could have an 18+ section that was guaranteed to allow only people who were over 18 into it then I bet it could happen. However, anyone who isn't 18 can sign up and claim to be over 18 and view the 18+ section. Age limits on the internet are not enforceable.

Oh no! You can't post obscenities. In fact, that's very untrue. You can say all the swears, cusses, and garbage that you want...you'll just get banned for it. Freedom of speech guarantees the right to say what you wish, however, it does not grant you to be free of the penalties associated with such language (i.e. yelling "FIRE FIRE" in a crowded movie theatre when there is no fire; you will get punished).

There's already plenty of trash on the internet. I admire David for maintaining a place like Vizzed the way he has. Usually I am scared to join strange sites, however, once I really saw what Vizzed was about I felt safe and grateful (it was like finding buried treasure!) The things that you can do on Vizzed more than make up for the things that you can not do (which I have no problem with seeing as how I don't like swearing in front of children or posting links to porn).

It gets annoying to see how often you compare not being able to say f*** to what the Jews went through in the Holocaust.

I'm brand spanking new to this site, so I don't have much of an opinion one way or the other. That said, based on your posts I have to side against you. Your blatant disregard for the consequences of your actions while online seem to be the basis for your argument. This is the internet, it's not a video game. What you say here, or on other websites for that matter, can, and do, have very real consequences. Whether you see them or not is not what makes them real.

And as for your freedom of speech, that applies to the government. Since this site is privately owned and managed, the first amendment doesn't apply. They have every right to censor the posts on their website.

Finally, what's the point? Why even make a thread trying to argue your point when your posts do nothing but show that listening to you would be a bad idea? Even while aware that your posts will be censored you're immature and offensive.
