Anyway, I thought 2006 Sonic was terrible. The only thing somewhat decent about it was the graphics. I hate that game with a passion.

I haven't played any Sonic game past the 32x, but Sonic 3D for Sega seemed kind of lame. It's neat concept for a system like that, but it wasn't all that fun once I was a few levels into it.

Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) is regarded by many to be the worst Sonic game of all time... and one of the worst video games overall too. It was boring, the controls were bad, and the story was uber weird. That's a very bad combination for a game.

Do I have to pick just one?

Sonic Adventure 2 was annoying because of the gameplay and storyline.

Sonic Heroes was just awful. It was the same repetitive game with four different teams. I finished it just so I wouldn't feel ashamed for not beating such a simple game.

Shadow the Hedgehog was dull. You grab a random weapon and decide whether you want to be good or evil. Ugh. Sold that one within a week.

Sonic and the Secret Rings was the worst of them all. You could lean side to side to adjust the route, but you could not stop moving forward. The story was painfully boring and there was no way to skip the movies. I rented that game and the only thing I ever gained from it was a Wii System Update.

I never bothered with Sonic Riders because it sounded... bad.

I almost ran out of synonyms for bad through all of these descriptions. That shouldn't happen for a series that started so well. I love Nintendo, but I have to agree with Totts. Once Sonic reached Nintendo, it was over.

i bought sonic and the golden rings for the wii and i played it and it was just boring, i didnt like it at all.
to be fair it was my first time at the wii properly playing a game unlike wii sports so i didnt really know how to handle it but i still found it pretty generic and awful.

BNuge : How can you not like SA2 it was an awesome game! As for gameplay it was only because Sonic was just starting out in 3d. I hated when you had to stop and slide under gaps
