I haven't played the game. Well just a little, I started it a few days ago on here. I kind of have no patience for it yet. Anybody have any tips or suggest that I just don't get involved with it?

It depends... if you can ever get used to the card system, it's worth a play through. But you really need the patience for it. Otherwise, just stay away. This game is good, in my opinion, and the storyline is important to the series, but it's not worth it if you get too frustrated with it

It's okay but not nearly as good as the first or second one but you need to play it to kind of understand kh2 but the card system takes time to get used to if you ask me they should have stuck to regular combat.

The card system is pretty interesting as it takes more strategy to go into battle rather than mashing the attack button to kill things. If you don't plan out your deck well, you will probably run out of patience with the game, but give it enough time and you'll have a lot of fun with it. And as everyone said, the story just gives it a little more incentive to play it.

I played the PS2 version. At first, I really didn't like it and only played it because I wouldn't know what was going on in Kingdom Hearts 2 if I didn't play through it. But I got the hang of it. Once you get pretty much all 9 and 0 level cards, it is so easy because you can break through everything enemies throw at you. Now, the only challenge is Riku the final time you fight him on Sora's story. But Riku's story is SO easy because all of your cards are chosen for you, and that takes out 3/4 of the strategy because you don't have to build your own deck. But the story is just as good as the other games, and really is important to play through before Kingdom Hearts 2.
