I almost did one time. I found my first Manga and I almost read it from left to right, until I noticed the cover was on the right side, so I thought it was from right to left. I still read it right to left to that day.

I actually never really did. My first manga was the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Adventures (Second book in the series), and from looking at the cover, I instantly knew (When I looked at the front page) how it was supposed to be read, Nya~ .

Yes. I have. I read a Pokémon manga, and I was confused about the story seeming to be in reverse. It didn't help that the other Pokémon manga that was there's panels were rearranged into the standard English format.

Oh yeah , I remember I use to do that . I didn't know until
I subscribed to shonen jump , they would tell you the right
way on how to read it . Even when I was reading manga the wrong
way it still made sense in a way ( somtimes ) .

Yeah, haha, I did read my first manga backwards. I opened it up and was like "what the hell am I doing?"

That manga was Absolute Boyfriend volume 2, and it wasn't even that long ago... Maybe a month ago when I found it.

The first time I read one yes, but after reading a few pages in and things sounded all backwards I flipped to both sides of the book and then the back side explained how to read the manga and I understood it perfectly from then on, and it also said that the quotation bubbles were supposed to be read backwards as well from left to right which made a lot more sense and it really cleared up my confusion and I have never made that mistake again. It was my first dragon ball z manga that I ended up making the mistake on, well at least I learned how to properly read them!
