So, there have been a lot of staff changes recently (Rasen demoted and I got promoted back to global) and we're looking to add some new local mods to the team. If you are interested please send a PM to the global mod inbox to be considered.

Requirements:

Age : 14+
Posts Per Month: 75+
Visits Per Week: 3+
Previous Experience Moderating: Any would be an asset.


Also include a list of the forums you would like to mod. Anything with 2 people already on it is off limits. We only want 2 people per forum.

Oh, and give us a reasons why you think you would be a good local mod. Convince us that you are the best choice for the position. If you don't have a reason you won't be considered.

honestly.... until that is cleared up we can't really make any picks anyway... so how about you just tell us which forums you would like to mod the most and we'll figure out where you will fit best once the other forums are handed out to the existing mods.

Wait, just to clear this up, but does that mean I need to resent a forum list of ones I would want to mod, or just keep the same list I have now, already sent to them? I'd hate to keep that one already sent and miss out by having a bad list

MegaRevolution1 : Yeah, I already sent my app too. W/E, the only real "new ones" are either combinations of old ones or the Health one.

geeogree : I posted my APP before the forum change (it was WHILE it was changing) and so the forums I picked had only 1 or no local mods assigned to it so does that count ?

Also, I think the forum looks ugly now, I prefer the older ones.

To anyone applying... It's actually easier then you think. Just ignore the sub forums when choosing which ones you want to mod. If you are a mod to say Video Games then you will have the ability to mod all sub forums within that parent forum. The new forum structure is a parent/child based system used for organizing threads in the parent forum. Child forums are not parent forums, so think of yourself as a parent and all the sub forums as your children, you manage them all

honestly guys at this point we're not worrying too much about the assigned forums.... that is more to just get a feel for where you would feel comfortable modding. It's not set in stone and doesn't overly affect whether you get a spot or not.

SilverMaestro : don't worry about it.... like I said before... the forums you want to mod won't make that big of a difference in the end. If we think you'll make a good mod then we'll make room for you somehow....

Yeah, it's pretty bad for me too as i'm only 12, and don't fit in with the criteria demands. Rage.

you can still apply if you really want to.... the age requirement isn't a totally exclusive thing... but if you don't get picked don't be surprised

Vash is totally unrelated to these picks and will in no way diminish the number of people being picked.

If the picks were done you would see 2-3 new mods and this thread would be closed.
