well has anyone ever hads a scary experience?like haunted...
well just like 20 minets ago (12:00 mindnight) i was downstairs on the computer(because i was boared and this computer i'm on is super slow)all of the sudden my aunts old music box stated playing by it self and nobody has touched that thing in years but it started playing music so i got super freacked out and ran upstairs and lock my self in this room ...i'm still totally scared i cant even type right so is you see any mistakes its becase i almost wet my self........(i'm such a coward)

I had a buzz lightyear walk towards me and I was scared. The toy had no power or batteries in it yet it still lit up.

ok thats creepy that happened to me when i was like 8 i was playing with a big barney toy and we took the batteries hout and it was still talking so we threw it in the closet

yea i have a ghost in my house stuff is always flying around in my house its creappy

i dont know if i had a ghostly experience but one time i was watching tv with my mom and dad was at work and my heard something fall over i think and we both heard it it was in the computer room

I slept once with my door locked and bared with furniture, and wake up with my walls scratched up and bleeding from my legs.
After cleaning the wounds I noticed they were human bit marks.
Also when I was younger I used to dream of people dying and the next day people dyed the same way as in my dream.

I have never had this happen to me but my aunt was walking to the bathroom and when she was in the bathroom she heard footsteps running behind her so she went to check on my cousin and she was asleep (She was only 2 or 3). Another one is when my aunt woke up to my cousin screaming and she walks in and she is standing up in her crib and her toys where on playing and she was looking at the door like someone walked in. They also saw a face in the TV when they took a picture and the TV was off but my Dad and my Uncle don't believe in Ghosts so they say that it was a reflection of something.

Elubell : Lol indeed, heck if you got really haunted so you´d have any physical of psychological damage I´d personally pay for any treatments, that´s how confident I am that there are no ghosts in this world.

Ellert : really you must be really brave then i'm scared to go to that attic at night and i wouln't even dream about the basement lol what do you think of ghost hunter shows?

I have a picture on my facebook that my friend took at his school. Down in the bottom right of the original picture on his iPhone we spotted a (what appeared to be) a little girl. We zoomed in and we could clearly see the face and noticed it was wearing a 1700's style dress. What really creeped us out was the fact that it was pointing at the camera. I have the picture attached to this post. Tell me if you see it because I can't see it on my computer.

Elubell : Actually I´m quite the coward, it may be that I have a phobia of dogs but if a dog growls near me I can´t handle it and even barks can get to me, if I see a dog that has no leash I take a BIG detour often going past a whole block of houses to get past it, and even leashed up dogs if they get close to me when I walk past I back off so that they can´t reach me.

It´s just that I don´t believe in ghosts or any supernatural being, and I think ghost hunter show are really silly because most of them happen in old and poorly ventilated/positioned places and that can create a scary environment, even scary enough to make people believe something supernatural is going on and if there is ever a ghost caught in one of those shows it´s never a clear and good image. Often it´s just tremors in the ground (and it just so happens that there are nearly constant minor earthquakes going on that are too small for humans to detect without tremor detecting devices, such as the ones ghost hunters may have) or small flickers of light that could easily be caused by the reflection of a outside light or some minor light source in the room, and who is to say that "ghost hunters" can´t easily edit their videos to create effects, then there are the "radars" that pick up magic waves, such as microwaves and radio-waves..., yeah real magic there, microwaves or radio-waves could never come from anything besides a ghost.

However I honestly believe psychics when they say that they feel ghosts, and the reason for that is that humans have a VERY advanced brain that can sometimes mess with us, if we focus intently on something we may start to "feel" it is real or that it is happening, we may feel that the chilly breeze is a ghost or that the sudden glum feeling we get in a dark moody environment is because of a supernatural being, we can even create fear of a place simply with the correct amount of atmosphere and imagination, creating places where they honestly believe there is a ghost (often abandoned cellars or tunnels or specific rooms), so I believe those particular individuals had those experiences however the cause of them I strongly believe is a false one.

So never mistake me saying that there are no ghosts with me saying that you have never "experienced" what you think may have been a ghost, it certainly was not, but it may have felt like it, with the music box in particular if you tell me how it´s designed, like what makes it play music and how it plays music I´m pretty sure I can think of some reason for it starting to play all of a sudden.

Oh and I´m sorry if I´m creating too much of a ping pong back and forwards discussion, so I apologize in advance if I´m breaking a rule here.

Edit: To clarify on the rule, there is a rule that says that any two specific board members should not continuously post one after the other like if we have person A,B,C,D & E the conversation should not go "A,B,A,B,A,B,A,B" but more like "A,B,C,A,D,B,E,C..." with a larger diversity of posters.

ok i can say i might have gosts in my house whenever i play my games downtairs i always get a prencence of someone down there and when im going to sleep my bed is next to a wall and when its kinda dark on that wall IT GETS DARKER i dont know if thats my imagonation or not whenever i look at my dresser when im going to sleep it makes a noise like the handle falling and hitting the dresser and one time i went to use the restroom my i was going to sleep i happend to look at my mirror and through the little crack there was a light shininhg oh wanna know somthing creepy i was going downstiars on the wall there was this huge sideways light there looked like it was coming my the washer room NOTHING IN THERE COULD HAVE MADE THAT and the door the reflects down to the basement the mirror is up and own the light was SIDE WAYS freeky huh plus one of my freinds told me his house is haunted

I have had a few ghostly encounters. but the one that sticks out to me the most is at where I work. I work at a hospital that has an old abondoned jail next to it that I have to patrol through during the night. During one of my shifts one evening I thought that I would be brave and wander the Jail site in complete darkness. I walked through the first and second floors ok and wasn't worried about anything, but when I started walking up the stairs to the third floor I started to hear a male voice start to sing a song from the 1950's. Being skeptical I went to follow the voice and found that at the end cell of one of the rows of jail cells. The voice was loud and clear and there was no there. I checked to see if someone left a radio or some sort of mp3 player or anything and couldn't find anything. I never did find out who was singing but I didn't experience it again.

A ghostly experience? or supernatural happenings... I don't think I ever had those kinds of experiences. I for one don't really believe in those supernatural happenings. I just don't.

The ONE experience that finished convincing me 100% that ghost exists (I said finished convincing) is that:

When I was climbing up the stairs, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. At first I thought it was my brother, but when I turned around (I was midway up the 20 stair staircase), no one was there. My bro was downstairs (basement) and no one else close by. It HAD to be a ghost.
FYI, we built the house, no one died here. Ghosts are not bound to their place of death.

Nah, I do not believe that I have had a ghostly experience. If I did, that would be awesome! I mean seriously, I can be a real skeptic sometimes in my heart.... If I had one of those experiences, then that might open up my mind a little. I have heard many interesting stories about kids with ghostly experiences, some from within my school class itself.

One of the kids, well he had many spooky things in his house. There was one story that he told that was cooler to me than all of the others... You see, what had happened was that in his family there is this book. I am not sure what was in it (my memory fails me at that point), but I know that if you try to read it, you hear things moving and the voice of the girl within the story. He said that people in his family have tried to read the entire book, but when they do, it disappears for days at a time. I give him a good credibility, so I was quite shocked to hear him say it... and he was telling one of the teachers, so I had good reason to believe that he was not lying (from his point of view, at least) in the slightest.

There was this other story, by a teacher herself about a student that she knew. This student had actually gone to spend the night with a friend. The friend's house was known to be haunted, because of all the noises that goes on in there at night. So the student decides to try and spend the night over with his friend just to see whether there was really anything. He heard a few voices and saw things moving. At this point he just darted towards the door, left all his stuff, and biked the 2-3 miles back to his house. The student told the teacher a few days later, and that's how I got to know. Well, even if the story was false in the end, I think that it was still a pretty cool one.

There was one other... I do not remember fully, but the gist of it was something like this. There was the woman whose house was on the site of a bloody civil war battle. Every day after she had finished taking showers, she would peek outside her curtain and see one of the soldiers. They were usually bloodied as if they had died in the civil war. At first she was really scared and screamed, but apparently got used to it after a few times, LOL!

What is really interesting with these types of stories, is the fact that they are from people that I know. People that I trust. Yet I cannot fully choose to believe without having experienced one myself. When I think about it, I would rather not have the experience, but if it came to me being ignorant or knowing, then I would pick knowing. Ignorance can be bliss, but I would rather be the guy who knew too much, but could not say or try to change anything lest he wants others to think that he is crazy, rather than the one who did not know anything to begin with. It might seem more frustrating for me, but frankly, I would rather it be the case.

The shows that are on TV, like ghosthunters, etc. I just cannot bring myself to believe that they have a clue about a word that they are saying. I do believe that ghostly experiences are possible, but I am not certain that they are actually ghosts or something else. I am not sure whether our conception of ghost is even close to correct. I can believe in one of those cold chills when you enter an eerie place. But what makes it eerie? Is it some sort of electromagnetic field? I think that one path that this could take us is science. My theory is that all of these are scientific phenomena and that they are somehow creating all of these effects.

Another theory of mine on the matter is that it may have to do with time. Maybe these ghosts are merely what we become when we die. Energy that randomly glides through time as if it were just like length, width, and height… It is all very interesting to think about.

When you how interested I am in, then you may think it peculiar that I do not enjoy watching people searching for the ghosts. Honestly, that’s mostly because the shows are boring, and they try to use every little detail as proof of ghosts. I dislike that. I would rather there be no show, but actual science and studying put into the field. But of course that’s not going to happen. Money is money. People are people.

thing1 : The thing is, it isn't a matter of using his own experience, it is a matter of pretty much copy/pasting long things from other sites. I have looked online fairly thoroughly on septembern's stories, and I don't see evidence of him doing that. Even though they are other people's experiences, he did type all that out on his own, and that is what we meant by 'your own'. So this doesn't break any rules. You can tell other people's stories as long as you type them yourself in your own words as long as you aren't copy/pasting things from other sites and just tweaking words here and there.If you caught something that I didn't and know of a site where he got all those stories from, then that is a different story.

I actually have had a few ghostly, or "other worldly" experiences. I only remember one of them well enough to tell about, though.

When I was around maybe 7 or 8, I think, my family lived in these apartments and one night I had seen an apparition. It was a ghostly looking man, dressed in a white t-shirt and blue jeans, and he had black hair, from what I can remember. I saw him waling down the hall through my open door, he stopped in the middle of the hall directly in front of my door, where he stood there for just a split second and kept on walking down the hall towards my moms room. I didn't know what to think. I was never scared by this figure, because he seemed for angelic than anything else. I've heard that angels make you feel calm when you are in their presence.

The next day I had described this angelic, ghost figure to my mom. She, naturally was a little spooked by it; she didn't remember anything like that happening. But she told me from the way I described him to her that he was an old friend of hers, who had died in an accident at work from a machine. That's what made me think it was more angelic rather demonic or evil. I guess he just wanted to visit an old friend whom he missed after his death.

This is not something that I've experienced, but my mom told me about this one day:

She was just sleeping in her bed, when all the sudden she woke up to the sound of a kid walking up to her bed, panting. She opened her eyes to see what was happening and she said she saw a little kid. For a second she thought it was my little brother or something, she closed her eyes to rub them or something and reopened them only to find that the mysterious panting child had vanished, completely. She turned on a light to see what had happened, but my little brother was already in bed with her; the covers neatly folded on him the exact same way they had been when he had fell asleep. She couldn't sleep the rest of the night, so she sat up with the light on being paranoid.

Due to my religion, i see many things most people do not, ghosts, spirits, demons, things like that. Some i would not rather see or experience, others were not to bad, i once played with a Ouija board and summoned a demon into my friend's living room. it streaked across the room and right through the wall, when i went to go look for it, it had vanished

OMG  yes I have one time I was in class and this was when I was in grade 5 and I'm in grade 8 now so anyway  I saw someone in a blue jacket and tuned around and no one was there freaky huh.

I havent had a ghost experience yet. But I do look up stuff like it and watch for signs of it.

I've had a few, but they're not that scary.
One of the few was the day of My Great-Grandmother's funeral and it was really humid at  the time and there wasn't any wind blowing at all outside and the curtains just started blowing rapidly out of nowhere.When I noticed it,I got creeped out and left the room.
Another time was when I was getting ready to go to bed and saw shadows moving in the living room.And I heard some noises that sounded like singing but I don't have the radio on while I'm sleeping.I slept in my mom's room that night.

Nope not yet but my older sister have. My dad just tell her that it just our ancestor checking on us. 

Nope, but i do think i saw a vampire in our house. It was on top of my closet, i was so scared i threw a shoe at it and it didn't move. 

I have had quite a few actually, one night at my old place I was asleep in the living room and I woke up and looked into the kitchen to see figures around the table and to me they looked like they were playing cards, and a few nights ago I heard a very consistent clap sound in my bedroom looked around didn't see anything and the rest of the night was silent, probably about a month ago I saw a shadow of a figure go into my dads room went to see if it was my dad and no one was there.

No i haven't but i have seen ghost up inside of pictures, thats what really convinces me to start thinking that ghosts are real.
