A game I like a lot for N64 was Gauntlet Legends, I had the NES game many moons ago and got quite into it. Playing Gauntlet Legends here made me think of getting the Playstation version since I only have a PS2, but the review I read said it was bad. Over the years I played NES Snes and N64 and never had a Playstation so didn't really know how N64 and PS compared, usualy I read N64 was always the best. After I got my PS2 I tried a few PS games and thought the graphics were pretty low rez, I had played the first 3 Tomb Raider games on my old PC so thought I'd give TR5 for PS a play, it was terrible. So looking at ebay for Gauntlet games I decided to get Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows for PS2, I had already played
Gauntlet Dark Legacy and traded it. I use to trade games at a games shop, maybe too much coz I'd end up letting go of some collectibles. So has anyone played the PS version of Legends, and is it any good? I might still get it if I come across it around town in the used game shops, the Vizzed game will do for now, playing blue warrior. Seven Sorrows the Elf looks pretty cool.

Well I have played the game and really did not like it, at all. The game was alright but comparing it to the awsome-ness that is gauntlet nes is just a crime. Still an ok game though.

What amazed me back in the day of NES Gauntlet, was voice sound. Being an older gamer of almost 58, I remember when all these games were new. When Gauntlet came out on N64 it was around the time after Baldur's Gate, so to me it was like that in 3D. I have Seven Sorrows in the mail on it's way and look forward to the latest PS2 version. The game came the other day, not had a chance to play very much but the characters are pretty cool, I like the elf mainly. good controls and a slight zoom out option. It's a fast pace game.

I was at Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio about a month ago. They had the original Gauntlet arcade game. It wasn't in the best shape. The Valkrie character didn't work, but my buddy and I tore it up with the Wizard and Elf.

"Wizard needs food badly"
