As some of you may or may not know, I am a college student. Yay me! I attend St. Joseph's College of Maine (I don't care if you intend to use that to find me and destroy me or not) as a Sports Management major. I also run XC for them.

However, at the risk of making this to personal, I must stop that for now.

My question is in the subject. Quite simply, Do you go to college?

If you do, would you be so kind to share your college with us? Or maybe share at least an interesting story? Neither are required, but it'd be nice to learn how college is elsewhere.

I don't go to college yet, because I'm too young and definitely not a prodigy, but I do plan on going to college. I really want to go to Rutgers. That college sounds amazing, plus my friend's brother goes there and he loves it. I wanna major in psychology, if that's even possible.

I'm not in college yet. (I'm just a silly little Junior.)
Anyways, I do plan on going to college. Though, with a scholarship in sports. So, I'm mostly just trying my hardest in my sport.

I want to go to a college either in North Carolina or Florida. xD I've been to camps there, so heck, I would love to go there again.

Seriously now: yes, I do as well. I attend a certain big-name school in Indiana on a full scholarship. I started as a psychology major, then considered English, then switched to music theory. But now I'm thinking music isn't for me... Pardon my French, but je suis merde a la musique.

No real stories come to mind. It's incredibly boring here. Oh! One time, I did take the wrong bus off campus and it led me to the bus stop rather than my destination. The bus driver then kicked me off the bus, and I had to wait around for about an hour for the other bus to arrive. A drunk homeless man named Moses tried to lure me "back to his house to have dinner with his brother". I think I would have had a Buffalo Bill situation going on if I had gone along with him. That would have been the worst birthday ever.

The educational system in Iceland is a bit different than others(or so I've heard)
Here it is:
the year you turn 6 - year you turn 16. Elementary School. Paid by the country through taxes and you have to attend, weather you like it or not

High School four years (most 16-20 years) most paid bu the country throgh taxes, but some are private and you have to pay a lot more <-- Me

I attend Metro State College of Denver. I love my school and my degree. I'm a Physical Education major with a minor in History. I learn so much that I never got in any years before college. It has been a great experience for me.

jmc1097 : I think my college has a rivalry with Rutgers. And if they don't, well, now they do. I go to Montclair State University. I love my classes (usually), but, I am still getting used to the people there. 18,000 people are enrolled, I'm bound to find at least one blue chip friend!

Unfortunately NO i don't go to college but I'm thinking of going for a major in psychology. People have always told me I'd be great at that so I might consider....and If i were to go back to college it would be a private college out of this state and not a community college.

I currently attend a Waubonsee Community College (local college in Aurora, IL). I have actually attended off and on since fall of 1999. Too much to go into detail, but I was one of those who suddenly had all this freedom and didn't give two craps for some of the semesters. And, some life challenges had me taking semesters off here and there.
But, 11 years later...I had some crap happen at my job in July that led me to quit (after working there 13 years). Also, 4 of my siblings graduated in the past year. So, I am quite motivated to finish this time around.

I suppose the word of advice is if you don't feel like going out of high school and you have the option not to, then don't. But, once you do...go at it and don't stop!

I go to UAB, but am a big Bama fan. I find the campus kind of dull at times (being smack dab in the middle of main Birmingham), but get a discount there because my father works on campus. I've got a nice scholarship and am part of an educational program that provides tutoring and the like, so I'm doing pretty well there. I had a 4.0 with about 30 credit hours until last semester, when I got a "B" and a "C". I was really bummed.

iceape8 : I´m in college too, and I have to pay for it. On computers course in "Tækniskólinn" (used to be called "Iðnskólinn").

So yeah,I´m in college and likely will be for the next 3 years, and it´s likely I will further my education after that.
