OK people, suggest changes to Secret of Mana 2's petition in this thread. When we actually begin signing, we WILL NOT be able to change the petition from that point forward! So it's important to give your input NOW. It currently reads:



SEIKEN DENSETSU 3 / SECRET OF MANA 2

If CHRONO TRIGGER's success was unprecedented, SEIKEN DENSETSU 3's was earthshattering. When word came about that the project to translate it into SECRET OF MANA 2 was cancelled, gamers were disappointed but moved on. When illegal ROMs and emulators began to surface in underground areas of the Internet, a private project to translate the game was begun immediately. It was successfully completed, and in record time.



Now, thousands of gamers have enjoyed SECRET OF MANA 2, albeit illegally. When a game which was never released to the United States holds its place solidly in the GameFAQs.com SNES Top 10, it is a true masterpiece. We therefore request for the SECRET OF MANA 2 project to be completed by SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD. This may perhaps be executed as a full remake in the same style as the CHRONO TRIGGER remake described above, or as a re-release as was done in the case of FINAL FANTASY V's Sony PlayStation version.

I played/beat it myself and its definitely worth a remake on possibly the DS. I could very easily see it coming out on a handheld like Sword of mana. Meh The petition has my support.
