I bet the most well-known song is some Chinese or Indian song. They have a population of 1 billion plus people who speak those languages and they simply have longer histories and more lore than we do.

Personally... I think everyone has heard the song "American Pie" But that might be an American thing. Either way, I've heard that song since I was little... and it seems that everyone has at least heard the song. Knowing the words is another thing, but a lot of people know the chorus!
