Technically there is no sin that is worst than any other sin except for blasphemy. That is what Jesus has said. So if you say that you are God and really are not, I am sorry but you will not be forgiven. That is the way I take it.

It is stated in the bible that all sins are equal, and that a sin that we consider to be 'big' such as rape or murder is equal to a sin that we consider Small such as lying. Also I would like to say that I do not think that blasphemy is unforgivable. Would you say that someone with a mental illness (who is insane) who believes that they are God would be sent to hell for it? The loving, forgiving God that I know would not do that.

We need to be clear on what "blasphemy" are we talking about here. Blasphemy is a sin that is forgivable, but "Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit" is unforgivable.

awesomesocks42 : You might want to be careful with your last statement: "The loving, forgiving God that I know would not do that." This is an overemphasis of a few of God attributes, and would distort the view of God overall.

For me the worst sin is to kill someone(in my mind, that includes also commiting suicide, because you're killing someone, you ). Because life is like a gift from God, and nobody should harm it

I believe all sins are equal from a biblical view. However, when looking at sins from a moralistic point of view , murder is definitely the worst one. There is no way adultery or any other sin can compare to ending some ones life.

Although I don't really buy into the idea of "Sin" I do believe that you should treat others as you wish to be treated. If you are nice to people then tend to be more likely to do nice things back to you.

Looking at the sins that are "Deadly" I would think that they would all be equally as bad as the other. I think that's kind of the point

I'm gonna go with what the bible says- I understand how most people believe killing is the worst; HOWEVER, anyone can kill the flesh but no one but God can destroy the soul. Murder/killing is an earthly thing, not spiritual.

I dunno. I'd either go with allowing somebody else to run your life, or I'd also consider suicide as the top of my list. No matter what happens, there's always another way the way that I see it. Comitting suicide won't help things as all you're doing is running away.

Well, I would have to say murdering is the worst sin someone would ever be able to commit. If you commit murder, you would have to feel guilty for the rest of your life, unless you don't have feelings or if you don't care. It's like ending someone's life. I forgot.

I think the worst sin ever would be:

Murdering a bunch of people without telling someone blaming on a friend or someone you don't know murdering the person getting you in jail.

Being a Rapist raping little children.

Sex before Marriage.

and the worst...... Burning God's Book of Faithful and Holy Words called The Holy Bible.
