In television YES , but in real life NO .The bright crimson hue of our blood is thought to serve us a warning system for our human body. When we are bleeding, that means that we are in danger. While many other people have no great fear on blood, in others, it can provoke a phobic reaction known as hemophobia (or hemotophobia).

What's so scary about blood? It's just liquid inside your body that delivers oxygen and nutrients and stuff to parts of your body.

So what if some leaks out? A little blood loss won't kill a person. With as rough as I was as a child, bleeding was a common sight. The mere fact that I'm bleeding is meaningless to me now. It only means something if I'm in pain. There have been several occasions in which I cut myself on something and never even realized it because I never even felt anything. It only discovered when I saw I was bleeding several minutes later. That's the kind of thing I can only shrug off. If it was so insignificant, I wasn't aware of it, it's certainly not dangerous.

I don't like seeing my own, while i can stand others in small amounts but if someone is gushing out blood, i'll throw up and freak out. If it's my own i panic and feel very light headed like i'd faint but never do.

Not really, some blood don't bother me, the only thing that bothers me if it's something extreme, for example looking at pulsating hearts freaks me out, I can see blood until a certain point, but if it's too extreme I try not to look.

I was watching a show today where the main characters were giving blood.  Before in the past, it wouldn't have bothered me at all.  However, now that I've had my blood drawn a few times, I noticed that it disturbed me quite a bit!    It caused me to grimace and think about my own blood being drawn out of my body, and I didn't want to watch the show.

It's weird how profoundly getting my own blood drawn affected me.

It really depends where the blood is coming from and why it is coming out for me to be skeeved.

If I am watching a show and someone has a cut on them, I may wince, but other than that I am fine. If it is during an operation, I get full out squeamish, sometimes I may turn my head away from it even. If I get a cut and am bleeding, I may curse and clean it to take care of it, but that's the extent of that. I suppose blood will always alarm me at a first glance, but once I am used to it or am understand why it is there, I am fine. Drawn blood does not bother me to witness, though to take from me I find to be quite unpleasant. I have not had blood drawn in quite some time, but I remember the discomfort I had when I was younger.

In Horror movies, I can get squeamish if the blood is well done, but I usually laugh at the badly done 60s-80s style ones. I also do not get bothered by cartoon blood since in most cases, it is done comically. I will admit a few gory episodes of Family Guy surprised me in some of their detail, but it usually was only for a brief moment.

Blood doesn't really scare me. After all, it's only a red iron rich liquid.

When I was a kid, yes; now, it doesn't bother me much anymore.

I do not get scared when I see blood but I do get into a surprised shock when I see my own blood.

Not really. When it is a lot of blood, It is disturbing, but it's not like I'm scared seeing it. I guess it's bad when I start bleeding, even though I don't know I have a cut or something, but unless it was really deep, then it's just the cut itself, not the blood that's freaky.

I'm really scared oF seeing a lot blood but if its a little bit of blood the answer is no ,So its kind of like 50/50 .

I'm not scared of seeing anyone's blood, mine or someone else's. It's just bodily fluid. I don't enjoy seeing it, of course-especially on me, since it means that I'm bleeding and probably comes just before pain.

no, not at all, it is a normal daily thing for me. and is the pêrson above said "but if it is gushing out of somebody, then it gets a little queasy". if it is serios then like a gun shot, then i would be queasy too ! 

Yes. I am a little traumatized from seeing blood and will faint when I see a little. I am traumatized and afraid of blood and driving because my older brother died in a car-crash and there was TONS of blood in the drivers seat... Worst of all we were very close friends...
