Just to make it a bit more fair, John, I'm going to have to say that all you do is rant about others' views because you don't think they're correct.

You're ranting about liberals b****in and moaning about how they don't like their country. We both know that the country could still be run better, even if we both like Bush as president. Why don't you tell us how conservatives would like to make this country better?

And you previously stated "Yea doesn't it suck that everything is fair?" Conservatives don't do everything fairly. You make it unfair for homosexuals, the minorites, etc, so please not try to contradict so much.

JOHN. THERE IS NOR EVER WAS A GENOCIDE IN IRAQ. What happened in the early 90's couldn't even be called ethnic cleansing. It was several isolated incidents that stopped immediately after Gulf War One. Bush Junior stopped NOTHING. For a real genocide look at Sudan which Bush has done 0 about. Over 2 million people have died. Many of those could have been saved. For a good example of ethnic cleansing intervention, take a look at Clinton in Serbia. Not a single U.S. soldier died and countless thousand lives were saved.

I don't see why people are whining about a few hundred american casualties...

really.... people die in wars.... and when you are killing 50 to 1.... it's not much of a war...

sure, it's not good if people have to die.... but I can't disagree that Bush did a good thing in getting rid of Sadam. I don't think anyone can rationaly disagree with that.

Thankyou!... finally someone with common sense. Oh and nasus hush. You have to pick your battles. Africa really is a s*** hole. It has nothing good and we really can't fix it up cuz the people are retarded and full of aids(etc., etc., etc......) Bush just picked a battle he could win and have a postitive outcome from. And i suppose killing hundreds of thousands of kurds and sheite muslums isn't genocide? They were targeted out and killed. And he killed people who didn't agree with him.

No, its not. It was never legally determined a genocide by either the United States or the Untied Nations. Plus, I don't think thats an accurate number. I think you're pulling it out of your ass.

How can you possibly claim that the member nations of the UN "never act as individuals"??? I think more often then not they completely ignore whatever recommendation the UN has and just do their own thing. I have no idea how you manage to tie that into communism. One of the things that I find most pathetic about you and like minded individuals is the ability to only see in black and white when nearly everything is gray.

at least the US acts...

the UN does't do anything anymore.... yeah, maybe in the 50's and 60's it was significan.... but it is losing it's power in the world as well as the respect people used to give it....

the UN would never -ever- have agreed to the attack on Iraq.... not because it was wrong, but because the UN is full of people that like talking more than actual fixing problems

the UN is a joke now, just not everyone realizes it...

from what I know, the UN has done nothing at all about the Sudan.... nothing about the Tsunami...

I mean, even France has given money.... I'm sure the UN could try and do something too

Your right, the UN is a joke. But just because you think that, it doesn't meant that every time they say it's not right to act on something doesn't mean they are wrong. The war in Iraq was not justified and still isn't because, as of now and since it started, there has not been anything to prove that life there as it is now is better than it was under the rule of a lunatic. Many people have died for a lost cause. The cause was once there for some people, those who blindly followed the crap fed to them by our leaders, and it was a justified cause. But it's not there anymore and few seem to see what has happened to it. I don't consider myself a liberal or a conservative, but I ultimately share ideas from both. As I've stated before, I did not support Kerry...and said even before that I did not support Bush. What I see in America is a modern Chinese empire that has lived it's life and fallen. From it's remains, a new land will arise under new leadership/political system in a new modern "dynasty". This is how history has been, filled with empires that lasted a respectable amount of time but eventually falling only to get back up on the back of someone strong enough to do something about it. America is failing as a whole, it doesn't mean the entire nation is going to drop dead...and it certainly doesn't mean the end of the world. Hell...most people may not even notice a transition that may come. The transition is now, when it ends nobody yet knows but it will end. I don't have any thoughts on what will come out of it, but there is a limitless list of possibilites I'm sure. Take your pick, I'm sure you can choose what you like better than I can. There's my little rant, if that's what you want to call it lol.

Your little rant is depressing me. Cuz its all full of lies. The war was justified, and it gets more and more justified everyday. Several other countries came out with reports that said it would be irresponsible to not go to war under the current information.

Hey, whether the war is justified or not, chances are, it'll end up similar to the way Viet Nam ended, minus the lack of respect of returning soldiers, etc. :|

the Iraq war has not been like Vietnam...

vietnam was about communism....

the iraq war is about Saddam, WOMD, oil, middle east control, democracy.... etc. etc. - take your pick

also, the death rate of the Iraq war is so small compared to Vietnam.... it's not even a fair comparison....

Not technically. It's way things have been going. We took their leader out of power, trying to place a new leader in.. etc. There are more factors than just the media. Not everyone wanted to go to war, John.

there isn't a war that everyone wanted to go into...

but, there are wars that need to be done, even if people disagree....

I never have agreed with the way Bush went about starting the war with Iraq...

I agree that there are other more important targets that probably should have been hit before Iraq...

but, no one can deny that in the end, Iraq will be better after this war is done and democracy is established
