Its a tie for me. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Good usually leads to sweet rewards, but staying good can get hard and force you to turn down other rewards you would like. Evil lets you do what you want and how you want, but in the end your almost always outmatched in skill by the forces of good.

My fave games are when the villain wins or the hero turns evil.

Villain winning:
Hero running up to fight the main villain after defeating it's man made god.
Villain sprouts angel wings and says, "Good by (insert hero name). I am going to go join with god now. You and (insert girl's name) enjoy your mortal life down on earth"
Villain flies off into space while the hero and girl have to find away out of the collapsing space station.

Hero turning evil:
Intro to the game - I have no idea who I am or what is going on and I want answers now! *Gets too angry and blows every one's heads off*
End of game - My girlfriend was just killed, my family is all dead, and no one likes me! Well except the villain... *Goes and kisses the villain and lives happily ever after with the villain*~

Yah I simplified what happened I did not want to give away which games the scenes came from. But yes there are times when the villain just wins!
