1) Xenosaga Trilogy
2) Mortal Kombat Deception
3) Shadow Hearts Series

I really enjoyed the Xenosaga games for PS2. If you haven't tried them, I strongly recommend them, especially the third game in the series, because it's the newest, and as such has the best graphics. All of these games have great storylines, and each game builds upon its predecessors, telling a little more about the Xenosaga universe. I also prefer longer games where it takes more than 100 hours to complete the entire game with 100% completion, so these are right up my alley.
After the horrible graphics of MK 4, and the joke that were the fatalities in Deadly Alliance, I was happy to see the MK team create a good 3D fighter and environment, and get back to the fatalities that drew me to the MK franchise as a kid, in Deception. Being a RPG fan, I also enjoyed playing through the Shujinko’s MK history, and interact with various characters.
The Shadow Hearts series is interesting in that it adds a mystical approach to historical events and places. All three of these games offer amazing graphics and music, and easily more than 100 hours of gameplay for the gamer trying to get 100% on the games, especially the second and third games in the series. These games reminded me of the Final fantasy X and X-2 games in that they created a world in which a gamer can become completely immersed.

Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door. My very first gamecube game and i enjoyed it throughly. I really love this game (so much that I played it through about 5 times in a row, and still occasionally play it though) It's a truly amazing rpg.

Davideo7 : I agree that FF7 was great! I found this out after I got past the graphics. I was really tied into it. But I think the best game I ever played was FF8. That also has soooo much to do with a great story line. There were also twists and turns in the game that kept you guessing and wondering what certain outcomes would be. All-in-all great game.

ff_freak : My 3rd favorite game is FF8. I agree that FF8 had a lot to do and FF7 graphics are hard to get use to after FF8. While FF8 had amazing music, I think FF7 had better music, now if I had played FF8 before FF7 and if FF8 had better music than FF7, than FF8 might be my favorite. My point is, there's a very fine line between liking FF7 more and liking FF8 more for me because both had a lot of pros and cons. FF8 had better graphics while I liked the characters from FF7 a little more but I liked some of the locations in FF8 more but I liked the story from FF7 more but FF8 had triple triad (huge pro lol). You get my point

My personal favorite video game of probably all time, has to be the very first game I played as a little child: Super Mario 64.

That game ment a lot to me, because it was a birthday present from my dad when I was 6. The first level I played was obviously Bob-Omb Battlefield, and that music was so catchy. Plus that game was the start of my favorite hobby today: Videogame playing!

I am andreas99100, and I am proud to say that Super Mario 64 is my favorite game of all time!

For me it would be Torneko: The Last Hope - for Ps1, i love the randomly generated items and dungeons floors as well as its simple Turn based combat style oh and the ability to upgrade or "meld" your weapons and shields. it also has a music soundtrack that grows on you (been looking for this game forever, since i got rid of my Ps1).

This is a tough one its between Ocarina of time or Resident Evil 4,but im going with(shocker)Zelda. Its story was top notch with so many beliveable characters and a twist that will go down in the Anals(not THAT Anals)of Video games. The gameplay was epic and is still incorperated into all of the 3D Zeldas since it,top notch game

This is a hard question but I think it is Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. this game is incredable! I mean what other game do you get to play as the heros Mario and Luigi and the villin Bowser the koopa king. I just love the fact that you get to use them both. As well as the diffrent combos with both and the diffrent fighting strigties. With Mairo and Luigi you fight to find Princess Toadstool Peach after everyone has been sucked into bowser's body. I also love how they combined the old school side scroling view for inside of bowser's body like the classic Mario games and Incroprated the 3D world for them to travel in for bowser and Mario and Luigi when they outside of bowser like the newer ones like for example Super Mario 64. The story is uniqe with the return of the great, wonderful, and unuseral chacter Fawful! This is the most interesting game of the Super Mario Bros. franchize.
