I rarely read anymore but it can take me an hour or 2 to get to sleep.
So I definiitely think I should just so I can sleep better.

I used to read a 0,5 or 1 hour before having some sleep. Because reading makes me sleepy
But during summer vacation, I don't care much about sleeping early, so I don't read any books.

Yes, I try to read every night. I usually can't sleep without reading first. I've been reading books every night for as long as I can remember.

I am more interested in articles and newer forms of written work than books. However, I like to read but I really enjoy writing (I have for a while and it is only recently that I have loved it this much!) Lately, I've been playing Jazz on my computer to help me sleep. I make a playlist of the same couple of songs that I have fallen in love with and it soothes me.

Back on reading: I am always so amazed at how dissect-able things like a work of art or a poem can be. I swear I look at what I have made and just bask in it. I see so many rhythms and nuances and other stuff that I did not remember being there when I was making it. It's unbelievable. The sub-conscious is a beautiful thing.

Only if it's a newspaper/magezine article, but if I have to read a book for school, then I'll read it then. Back when I was younger I would read all the time, but about 8th grade I sorta stopped.

I also read my comic books before bed, as a last "fun" thing to do. (Before watching Conan, of course.)

I wouldn't necessarily say normally, but I go on a 2-3 month long kick here and there where I will read, like a lot, including b4 bed. Sometimes I will do it just to help me go to sleep but I find it better to use a well read book for that or sometimes the book will keep me up!

septembern : I try to read the bible as much as I can and usually that's right before I go to sleep. other than that...I don't read before sleep...perhaps during the day. Haven't read the bible in a few days possibly week or so...I should get on it! Thanks for the reminder
