the 3DS does feature an analog pad, not necessarily a stick but it's a step up from a d pad. I think the DS is easy to use 99% of the time, all of the uses for the microphone have been really gimmicky so far except for online communication and language learning. Aside from those two I find the mic somewhat cool, but ultimately useless. But I think the DS is great and not hard to use at all

Sometimes, like when I play MW3 it's very hard with the stylus. It's a wired hand position.

I don't think the DS is hard. Some games are hard others are easy. Some games are impossible without the stylus, others, you can throw away your stylus! It is hard too use the mic in a noisy area.... Sometime hard too use the stylus in a car, wile walking, etc. The double screen is very helpful!

Overall, it depends on the game!

Honestly I understand the gimmick of the stylus...especially for the time when the first DS came out..but when you have to combine D pad and Stylus movements it messes with the experience a little. For example the Zelda games would have been a lot better if you just at the OPTION to change the attacks and things like that to a controller motion. I appreciate that they tried to do something different to show the capabilities of the DS but they should have given you the option to at least change it to a normal controller scheme.

Overall I think the DS is a great system I just don't always want to have to crazily slash a stylus back and fourth to attack.

You said that it would be easier if they moved the microphone to the bottom. That's where the microphone is on the original DS. Clearly, you have never played an original DS (I was kinda mad hearing you say that it was never on the bottom). And the last DS game I played took me about an hour to beat.

Of course it is not too hard! It is an amazing console that got a lot of good games! We can do a lot of things with the two screen! It is pretty easy to use for everyone!

I have seen many hard DS games before, some made harder by the controls such as Super Mario 64 DS and Kirby Mass Attack, but the controls are made to match the game play. So it's more so the game is just hard on it's own instead of the actual controls being really hard.
