septembern : I can't pick a favorite movie, since I have so many that I enjoy. Lord of the Rings and The Last Unicorn are up there, though.

I love movies and I watch them pretty often, probably a few times a month or more. It's something I like to do at home with friends.

Well, um, I guess I should ask you a question. You had mentioned to me before in another thread about relationships that you have only had two boyfriends or something like. I was just wondering, for the heck of it I guess, do you want to have any children. Personally,  I do not really want any. If the spouse wants one, I might agree to one or two, but no more than that. SO my question is: Do you want kids, and how many?

I like swimming, and going for walks, and maybe some kayaking... But besides that I am not really a sports person. I do like cardio exercise when it comes to fitness.

thing1 : No, I have decided that I'm child-free. I know it might seem kind of early in my life to make that decision, but at this point that's definitely how I feel.

I want to have the time and money to travel with my husband, and do whatever we want. Children would not fit into our desired lifestyle. The responsibility of raising a person and paying their way for 20+ years is too daunting.

It is mostly for what some would call "selfish" reasons. I'm not certain that the planet needs any more human beings added to it, or that it will be suitable for new generations as our species continues to destroy it. Additionally I am not really interested in continuing my legacy in the form of children. (In fact I'm not even interested in being remembered.)

A pretty major change would have to happen in my wishes for the future, for me to change my mind and somehow desire children.

I am drawn to these terms because I feel they are descriptive of my "front" (how I choose to present myself), while having several meanings makes them slightly ambiguous and interesting. The term 'vampire' also alludes to some of my interests such as goth fashion, makeup, the occult, horror/macabre fiction and movies. This is why I have chosen it for my nickname.

Vixen is the term for female fox. When a person is foxy, he/she is calculating, astute, devious or sly. Foxy can also mean sexy, hot, seductive. Similarly, "Vixen" also means a woman who is sexually attractive. Vixen can also mean a woman who is a b****, "witch", she-devil, or ill-tempered.

Vampires are mythological creatures who exist by feeding on the life essence of others. They are featured in nightmare, horror and macabre fantasy, including horror movies.

Vampires are often depicted as having very pale skin, dark circles around their eyes, black clothing, and black hair. The same can be said for people following "typical" contemporary Gothic style. Vampires and vampire bats are common motifs in modern gothic subculture.

They are also tied to cult symbolism; within the goth subculture, as well as Satanism, there are people who describe themselves as living a vampiric lifestyle - meaning they participating in drinking blood and/or "feeding" on the psychic energy of those around them.

The term "vamp" can mean several things: Seductress, femme fatale, man-eater, flirt, tease.

I don't know how old you and Brian were when y'all first met in person, but I'm only 15(about to be 16) and I was wondering if I could help get a little advice about me trying to visit Kelly.

I know we're very serious, and I want to see her very bad, but I don't know if my mom would allow my to go up there. I seriously doubt she'd fly me, since we are too poor for that. So my only hope is to have her drive me up there, because I also doubt she'd let me drive myself to Canada...

So, my question is, can you give me any tips on convincing my mom to let me meet Kelly, any solid points I could give? I have a few of my own, but I don't know if they would all work. I come to you for this, because you've gone through a some what similar situation.

Please help this poor, young lad meet his love. lol.

pi0x : It was last year, the same age we are now. I had just turned 19 and he's 26. He took two weeks off work, and bought his plane ticket here.

I didn't really have to convince my parents of anything. We're both adults; They weren't going to stand in the way. My parents trust my judgement. Of course I had to ask permission to have him stay at our house for two weeks, but we weren't relying on them for anything (such as a ride, in your case) so they were more willing to let it happen.

However, I still do have some advice for you...
1. Tell your mom straight-up, how you feel about Kelly and the situation.
2. Get a job, or some type of work (maybe on the weekends), and earn money towards gas. There's no reason you can't contribute, even if it's just partially, to the price of the trip. If you work towards this I think your mom might be more receptive to the idea.
