Hey do you take any sort of herbal remedies/tinctures?. I used to quite a bit considering my ex was studying herbal medicine at University for 3 years.

sonicmcmuffin : Not currently, since I don't have any health problems that need to be fixed with medicine at the moment. I prefer a natural method over a synthesized chemical and/or pharmaceutical where ever possible.

I have taken some in the past, though. Including THC extracts & teas as painkillers/sleep aid (although that was not the original intended function it did help me feel rested), teas, echinacea drops, and raw garlic cloves as an antibiotic. I also sweeten my drinks with stevia leaf instead of sugar.. and my mum has a fabulous herb garden, although the herbs are used for food and not remedies.

seanne : I really am not familiar with any wrestlers. I am completely disinterested in that. I will admit I've watched a few minutes of "fighting" on TV, but only because it consists of well-muscled young men rolling around in spandex shorts.

sonicmcmuffin : I forgot to answer the tarot card question... At the moment I do not own any tarot cards but I would like to find a deck some day. So far I have not come across any decks that draw my attention. I would also like to have a set of runes, preferably made of naturally fallen deer antler (sounds nifty, huh?)

Yeah it sounds pretty awesome actually. I used to have some tarot cards but sadly they got destroyed by a rather annoying little sister xD

As for runes I've personally not had any myself my ex (yeah keep bringing her up) but she had some carved into wood, I don't know what type of wood tbh.

I haven't really apart from meditation, and did become quite good at massage but hey no I live in a s***hole so it's kinda impossible.

Markeith21 : Leo, although I don't really feel like I fit the personality type that Leos are supposed to be.

rcarter2 : For sure, seeing as I'm engaged. All I really hope for is to spend the rest of my life with him, everything else is secondary. At this point I don't know what will happen for sure. What I do know is that we don't want children.

What is your MOST favorite activity to do when you have some free time. Like if you really just wanted to go and have some time to yourself.

If you were planning a wedding for you and your fiance. what type of wedding would you have?

Jordanv78 : The top few things I can think of: Meditate, sit outside, draw, listen to music, smoke cannabis, play Neopets.

Markeith21 : The main aesthetic theme of our wedding is going to be inspired by Tolkien's elves, and as for actual practices and ceremonies I also want to have some Celtic, Wicca and Hindu related things as well. For example: I want to have a decorated forehead (Bindi dot) and henna-painted hands and feet. I want the dress itself to be Celtic and wear a matching silver headdress. And I want our vows and the ceremony to represent our shared spiritual Pantheistic values.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Jordanv78 : Well, everyone has things they would change about their appearance, I'm no different. The usual: I'd make myself more physically fit, better skin, nicer fingernails, blah blah blah. It's boring to talk about.

In terms of my literal "self", my personality or whatever you want to call it.. I'd make myself more organized and efficient. Less concerned with material things - Overall, more disciplined. More talkative and eloquent in social situations.

Markeith21 : I'd want be an elf in Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit

manicman66 : I'll be honest and say that having to interact with people who have severe mental disabilities is awkward for me because I'm not familiar with it. I don't have a problem with them as people, I just don't know what I should say or do and I don't want to make anybody feel uncomfortable, offended, awkward, pitied, patronized, etc. Basically I don't know how to deal with that situation.

People with disabilities deserve rights just like anyone else. I think that basic decency dictates that they should be afforded care
that they require (whether it's special tutoring, assisted living,
counseling, etc.) in order to ensure they have a good quality of life -
and that they should not suffer at the hands of people who hold
prejudices against them.

Throughout history people with developmental disabilities have been ostracized and dehumanized. For example, being segregated in asylums, even if their impairments were clearly not a danger to anybody. In a society where that is the attitude, people with mental disabilities would be forced to be a burden (using up resources without contributing anything) by no fault of their own, due to practices such as institutionalization and abuse.

If we abandon this thinking - and instead focus on individual treatment and care, basic human rights - mentally disabled people are given the chance to find their place in society. There will always be barriers, but in an environment that is supportive they have an equal opportunity to flourish and be integrated in with everyone else as fellow human beings.

Basically, whether or not there is a place for disabled people in society, is completely up to that society.

As for medication, I don't really have an opinion about that. I can't make that call and I have never had an experience relating to it.

Markeith21 : I think my all time favorite is Milla Jovovich. I also like Uma Therman, Sigourney Weaver, Jodie Foster, Julie Anne Moore, Amanda Seyfried, and Mila Kunis. (I am really into movies.)
