vizwiz123 : I can't speak for all of Canada because I've never been to other provinces. Canada is a huge country with spread out population, for that reason each region is actually kind of isolated from one another.

But I can speak for BC. Because it's beautiful, there is lots of wilderness, lots of wonderful things to see & do (skiing, beaches, hiking, shopping, partying), the country is at peace (unlike other travel destinations, there is low risk of being robbed, shot, held hostage, etc. LOL), it's clean, the people are polite, the culture is wonderful (a patchwork of many different ones), the economy is better than the USA right now, we're famous for having excellent weed, and we have great coffee since Seattle is only a few hours away. Also, in general, it's good to travel & have new experiences in a place you're not used to.

sonicmcmuffin : If a person has a terminal and/or extremely painful lifelong illness that they don't want to live with anymore, I think they are within their rights to end their life... And if they need someone to assist them with it, then so be it. Sometimes letting them live is cruel in itself because of the pain they are experiencing. Obviously I am not okay with doctors or whoever being 'allowed' to assist just any suicide, it has to be a special case like that.

If someone has pets, that they honestly are not capable of taking care
of anymore (due to disabilities and money), and they have no one who will take
them (And their mental disability prevents them from being able to

the local no kill shelter isn't accepting pets), are they
cruel for taking them to an animal shelter where they might be

metal572 : I don't see any other option for them, especially if they have already contacted friends and family about it and nobody has given a response.

I don't know if this sounds discriminatory against people with disabilities, but it seems like it was extremely irresponsible for them to have a companion animal in the first place if money and interacting with people was even a sligthly forseeable issue.
