alexanyways : You can't make the effects of the anesthetic wear off faster. I suggest eating apple sauce, yoghurt, ice cream, etc. That's what I did when my wisdom teeth were taken out.

I think it depends on the content and the subject. You could have a short and matter-of-fact post and it could end up being better thought-out than a long rant on the same subject. But in general I would say about two paragraphs?

I feel sorry for people with attitude issues, in the end their issues with drive people away from them and ruin relationships. Their loss.

warmaker : Because those people have twisted and warped it into something it is not. That, or there is something inherently wrong with the religions themselves. Probably a combination of both, but mostly the former.

Okay, I got one more.

The job I currently work at is under threat of lay-offs. Potentially, at the end of the month, I may or may not have a job. There's no security and no certainty of working there. I have several contacts who are at job temp places and they have already offered to help me.

The difficulty is I'm moving in 10 weeks and I can't afford to NOT have a job. I should give two weeks notice to my current employer to let him know I'm making a move and I can't just walk onto a temp job if I'm unemployed.

Do I:

A) Quit my job even though it's much better then temp work and go find a temp job for the possible job security, even though I'm not 100% promised a job.

B) Keep working and risk going without income for a while, which means I'll pile up debt because of my extravagent lifestyle (which cannot be changed. Rent and payments are fixed)

C) Other

The difficulty is that I'm so close to leaving and I know my job is under the gun. I can't produce more than I currently am so I can't 'save' it. Unemployment isn't going to be enough without accruing massive debt and I can't leave any earlier since I'm contracted to be here through May. It's so close but so far away.
