Let's see, I've traded for three in White: Umbreon, Arcanine, and Steelix.
I've also encountered a shiny Spearow in FireRed. Goldwing (its name) replaced my Pidgeotto immediately.
I attempted to breed a shiny Axew, but it got too boring and I stopped (hey, more trade fodder for anything I don't have in my pokédex)

I was zooming around in Pokemon Ruby Destiny Life Of Guardians and I found a shiny Lv2 pidgey! I saved my state, took a screenshot, and threw a pokeball at it. It didnt work so I downloaded the last save state and tried again! Then I caught it! I put it in my oarty and swapped it with my Lv10 pidgey. I named it Sha-Ka-La. (I was trying to make it sound ancient Egyptian or at least exotic because it was gold)Also I was walking around in either Pokemon Ruby or Pokemon Sapphire and one of the NPC trainers had a shiny swablu.LUCKY!

I caught a shiny Meditite in Platinum. It just randomly in Mt Coronet. In Platinum I also encountered a Shiny Quagsire in the worst place ever! The safari zone. I tried feeding it and it ran away. It looked hungry too!

Technically I have caught two one being the red Gyarados in Crystal but I don't count it because it is programmed into the game. The other shiny being a Pichu I received from an egg (although I don't know where I got the egg from).

I was just walking around in the grass looking for astarly but my piplup keptkilling them with crits then I found a brown one and I was like "what the hell" and I looked it up and foundout it was a shiny and that doesn't have a high encounter rate and then I caught it......then my little sister reset my game I was so mad

I had 5 shiny encounters and all of them were in pokemon rumble, for rumble, when you encounter one, you have a 100% (no joke) chance of catching it. They were:

Well to be honest, I bought Pokemon Black from Replays a while back, and it had over 200 pokemon in storage along with the fact that most of them were shiny. So most of them were caught using an AR device....

On my LG I had a shiny Rapidash, but I was an idiot and started over, and on my HG I found and caught a shiny Spinarak, which I then gave to my brother. Then there was the shiny Tentacool I saw in LG, but I had to knock it out 'cause I ran out of pokeballs trying to catch it.
