Good idea sonikku, I'm with you. So I'm starting my own high score competition. If you can beat my high score in balloon fight, I'll give you 100 Viz. If you can beat it by 10,000 pts. or more, I'll give you 1,000 Viz. This will apply to up to five people, according to how high their score is at the end of the month. The five highest scorers to beat my high score earn Viz. Good luck! My score is around 100,000 right now.

Well, I currently am holding the high score for Dig Dug, but for some reason you cant see it! I have tried to post it many times and it just wont show up. Help please?

I have a high score in Mega Man, Who wants to put the time in it to beat it?

The highest score I've ever gotten in original SMB was over 4 million. I involve the extra guy turtle bounce trick on 3-1 and then, on 3-2, repeatedly stomping the turtle after the checkpoint, kicking it (hits enough enemies for a 1up) then jumping down a pit. Repeat. Over and over and over.

Note the I accomplished this before I had ever hear of the "internet". I have no desire to try this again, but if any of you have the guts and fortitude to accumulate a rediculous SMB score, I'd love to see the screenshot. (According to old issues of "Nintendo Power" the score tops out at 9,999,950. Good luck!)

Treasure Island Dizzy is a simple adventure game with a simple scoring system which makes it fairly trivial to achieve the perfect score once you know where everything is; the catch is that just one death ends your game. I discovered that Dizzy can jump off the air immediately after using a warp, and that allowed me to see two screens which are normally unreachable, providing another 2000 points. See, every new screen you see is worth 1000 points, and every coin you collect is worth 500 points, with there being 30 coins to collect in all, so there's a hard limit on the score you can reach. Unless someone finds a way to glitch into more undiscovered rooms or duplicate coins, then that may be the highest possible score.

Boomerang Kid is probably the best game on that collection for high score competition, although the scores themselves will be nowhere near Treasure Island Dizzy's scores. In that game most of the points come from time left over after finishing a level, so higher scores depend on pure speedrunning skill, whereas good scores in Super Robin Hood and Treasure Island Dizzy come from being slow and thorough.

Super Robin Hood is an interesting case because while most point bonuses are one-time deals, you can keep shooting the same bats endlessly for 10 points every time, and you can keep shooting guards for 20 points per hit as long as you don't kill them and re-entering the room to restore all their hit points. So while your average player would complete the game with around 33000 points, you could very slowly increase that as high as you want--up to 999990, as I discovered through hacking. Thus, in the end, I think the top score will go to whomever is willing to waste the most time shooting the same enemies repeatedly before finishing, sadly.

Who would like to take on my score in Back to the Future for the NES? Gonna go BACK IN TIME....lol

yesterday i was playing paperboy and i got a high score of 135,600.the problem i got is nobody sent me my points yet.i got the high score on the last day and i was shocked that nobody sent me my points.please somebody help me please.to anyone who helps i will be willing to award anyone who helps with Viz.thanks.

Got highscores in some Mario hacks, they are hard but with some days practicing I could reach a big score.

Sorry when I ask question in the wrong topic, but it seems I'm right here. How to submit a highscore from a game? I'm totally new here and know only a few things. Maybe someone can help me out. 

The high score competitions is one of the things I love about Vizzed.Before that I saw no point in trying to get scores in games like Streets of Rage and I always thought something like that would be great.I'm trying to get high scores in lots of different games.Currently(or by the time I wrote this post),I have 62 submitted scores and I'm in first place in 19 of these.
