The only competition I have right now is David. He is the only person I care about posting more than. I'm closing in on being only 3000 posts behind him.... it's taken me a while to get to that point... but I am closing in on him. Slowly but surely.

That's true, geeogree. Actually, if you keep up your current posting rate and David keeps being less active about posting, you can catch him up. *checks* right now you have more than 11,500!

As long as me, it seems that I slowed down my posting rate a bit, although my profile shows "17.36 per day", I usually make 13-15 posts per day. Now I've reached 3300 posts.

I'm trying to catch him right now since I know he'll be busy. If I can put together a month or 2 of 1,000+ posts each I will close the gap like crazy. I don't know if I'll hit 1,000 either month but I want to get as close to it as possible. Hopefully I can be within 1,500 or 2,000 before he starts posting a lot again.

Nice. I am 2000 posts away from going into the gap past Michael Vash. I'm gonna try to get fourth behind DH.

I am new, I have no clue how this thing works, I would love to know, I find the guides confusing, I would love to be able to post more than one thread or poll a day, I don't know how to connect with people?

I don't know if you been there yet, but that pretty much explains the rules of the board. Although I'm sure we could add a couple more. We've recently made it so new members such as yourself are only able to create a certain amount of threads per day. This prevents dumb users from creating a bunch of useless, spam-filled threads. As soon as you make a certain amount of posts you can then make as many threads as you want.

Trust points are given to people when other see them as a good/mature poster. If you've proven yourself to be a good example for the other members by making lengthy and/or good quality post then they'll give you a number of Trust Points with the maximum being base on the giver's power level.

If you have any more problems or questions you can make a thread in the Help forum, or you haven't already done so, make your introduction thread in the Newbie forum. Otherwise you can PM me or the other staff. That's what we're here for.

Well, this is post 3100, gonna pass Rasen and noelia within about a week or two since noelia's slowing down and Rasen is, well, how Rasen's been over the past while.

I am now 3000 posts behind Davideo7. I think this is the closest I have been to his post count in about 5 years . Still glad I'm closing in on him. Not sure if I'll ever catch him, but I'll try.

As long as me, my next goal is to reach DM posts, and if I'm lucky enough to reach 5,000 posts before Christmas, but this is like utopia for me right now,lol

well, it's taken me 3 months to get closer by 1,000.... so it'll be a while before I catch him. Although with his daughter coming and his being much busier than he usually is I have a great chance to catch up to him right now It'll go a lot faster than it has been going.

Man, it seems times have changed since I started posting on Acmlm boards. Back in the day it took most people months just to reach a thousand posts. Now days people have thousands in a matter of weeks. WTF? I guess people are posting maniacs these days.

yeah.... it took me a long time to get a high post count back in the day on the older acmlm boards. But I also remember only the original acmlm board being this active. Very few of the branch offs ever were this consistent in their activity.

vizwiz123 : good luck catching her while she's acively posting. Not impossible considering how close you are, but there are a lot of people between the 2 of you that would make easier goals.

Yeah, when I joined last year. There were very few people who got above 600 a month (the only one was geeogree)

Now there are 5-6 people getting 600 plus and a few people getting 1000+ each month

I also remember when 30 on at once was a lot, now 40-50 is normal and the record is 64.

It finally seems like the active users are also the top posters again. John, Vash and Bob are moving down in the ranks finally. They sat at 2nd - 4th for way too long.
