The girl (Jasmine Ann Allen) who sang as Claris in the kid vocal version of the song 'Dreams Dreams' in the game 'Nights into Dreams...' reprised her role as Claris in the adult vocal version of the same song in the sequel 'Nights: Journey of Dreams' 11 years later.

Kinda fascinating to hear of someone not only reprising their role in a song (especially for a video game) but that many years later.

Did you know that the NES almost had a KNITTING ADD ON?!? Crazy, I know, but true!

"A recently-surfaced 1980s brochure reveals that Nintendo nearly released a knitting add-on for the NES. Posted on the Facebook page of former Nintendo employee Howard Phillips, the brochure shows off the Nintendo Knitting Machine, a device that would have connected to the NES and allowed players to create and print their own designs.

“You're looking at the Nintendo Knitting Machine,” the ad reads. “It's not a game; not a toy; not something a young girl can outgrow in three or six months or even a year. It's a machine that interacts with the powerful Nintendo Entertainment System to actually knit sweaters: and not just one or two patterns but a multitude of different and unique designs.”

But there is one easter egg in it: Mount Rushmore is in it, BUT the most far left head is... Mario? Mario's head is one of the people in the mountain. As i said, you can shoot on the ground, meaning you can also shoot on Mario's head, ending up being a Wario head. If you shoot again, he's Mario again. It looks funny, if you're not scared of Wario...

Did you know that the actual release date of Super Mario Bros. in the US is unknown? We know it was released in 1985, but that's it. We don't know the month or anything. Pretty strange considering it's one of the most popular games of all time.

Has anyone thought what inspired the concept of "Sonic the Hedgehog" games?

Well I've read that Yuji Naka, who is a video game designer / programmer / producer etc, got the concept from level 1-1 on Super Mario Bros. Since its the only level on the game that you actually have to play and couldn't use warp zones to get past, he literally tried to get through the level as fast as he possibly could. So he would play it over and over again to try and finish it faster and faster.

This is what inspired the original concept for the Sonic games. And for what its worth, I don't play Sonic games because the gameplay is obviously way too quick for me lol 

Did ja know? Did ja know that Pokemon in English wouldn't exist if it wasn't for our king, Satoru Iwata? Yup, he brought the Pokemon franchise into the western world. Also, did ja know that it was Mr. Iwata's idea to add the Kanto region in Pokemon Gold and Silver? He thought the players deserved an extra region :3. Pokemon wouldn't be itself today if it wasn't for Iwata.

I don't know if this has been brought up yet or not but do you all here remember the oracle series of the Zelda franchise turns out there was meant to be a third but it got canned due to technical problems something to do with the link cable wish they made it anyway a game with an oracle based around secrets probably would had some of the most frustrating puzzles.

In Photoplay 2000, there is a bug in one of the games: Shuffle. Upon turning on the game, start up Shuffle with 3 players. Lose with 2 players, then solve the puzzle as the last player standing. If done right, you'll stay at level 1, no matter how many times it is solved. This makes it possible to get the Score over the million mark.
