I'm the same as dramabethie, I can have a childish personality sometimes. For example, I still enjoy the same cartoons I did when I was younger and you can guarantee that I'll play toys and action figures with my kids, in fact we'll probably race each other to the toy isle when we go toy shopping

I agree with dramabethie, I act like a kid whether or not there are kids there. One of my favorite things to say is "growing older is inevitable, but growing up is optional."

LOL, that's awesome. I totally agree with you guys, toys are fun, I don't care how old you are. People spend all this time and effort thinking up and designing toys to be fun, so there's no reason it shouldn't be fun for older people to play with!

BTowns: I agree. It's hard for me to admit but me and 2 other friends played with action figures until we were 15

But when we played, it was like we were making up our own world and sorta role playing with our action figures in a sense. We'd make up story lines and everything, was a lot of fun. We usually used G.I. Joe's but we used a lot of other 3 1/2 inch action figures as well.

David: I believe that playing with toys like that, when you role play or make stories and such, is actually a good exercise in creativity. Making up new worlds and stories and such really enhances your creative ability and helps you come up with good ideas more easily, which is maybe a contributing factor on how you're able to run and update a website!

Personally, I never played too much with toys as a kid, since I had no one to play with, but when I did have them we usually walked around talking and making up new stories, but never actually remembering them, lol. Every time I made new friends, they moved within a year I had really bad luck with friends as a kid.

BTowns: I do have a lot of creativity, I've got pages and pages worth of notes of things story and game ideas and sketches of creatures that I've designed. You didn't enjoy playing toys by yourself?

Well, I used to play with my hot wheels a lot and pretend that they could each talk and had super powers, but I didn't do that very much after I was about 10 or so. I'm not a very creative guy, so I stopped playing toys like that and moved on to building K'nex and lego, and when PS2 came out I got one, and never played toys that much from then on. Video games killed my career in construction, lol.

I use to do something similar with my Micro Machines, except I had a bunch of towns and other pieces that let me create my own town, once my friend and I literally played the Micro Machines for 24 hours (we might've taken a few breaks but there wasn't many and they weren't long).

To be honest, I think video games might be destroying the creative minds of children now days, once you lose that creative talent, it's incredibly hard to get back.

I believe they are, as well as the school system too. We're so encouraged to get good grades that we end up doing all we can to just jump through hoops and make it like the teacher wants, including all the requisite information. It's making it so they can only do things when instructed, and usually when they're given an example too. I'm just the same, and I've noticed it in the majority of my 90%+ average peers, that we can't be creative and actually make something the way we want it, because we don't even know what we want anymore, we're so out of practice.

I think for the most part a lot of people do. They respond easy to it and it makes them feel like they can connect with you on a different level. Pedaphiles seem to take this gift too far at times though.

BTowns: Yeah I definitely think the school system is to blame, I've noticed home taught kids are far more superior in intellect and creativity, definitely why I want to home teach my kids, I hated attending public schools.

David: I agree that home schooling can make your child more intelligent and creative, but the only problem is it could make them socially awkward, and they could have a comfort zone the size of a pinhead. It would be good to send them to summer camps and put them in a lot of social situations, to guarantee that they won't have any problems with people interaction later on in life, and in their career.

I gave up toys and started playing games made by the company Maxis (or some people may call them EAxis due to their strong partnership with EA) , you get to create and do similar things (like the Sims,Sim city and especially Spore(you can make the most things with that game, I made some cool, original things with that) )I like other games too FYI.

As soon as I can get that abode flash, I can also make more storyline (I made some already).

When I was young, I used to play with those small car toys and make up story lines and stuff, but now, I still keep the "hot wheels" cars for decoration, they still look cool, but I don't really play with them.

Kids have been playing to much violent videos games like GTA, halo and call of duty nowadays that a "story: to them requires guns and killing. Actually, this is the same for watching to much Television.

I play lots of Maxis games, so I still have that creativity.

My old friend's (family moved back to their country now) brother, who was 9 when he said this, said that toys are "childish" and "Immature". They are big halo fans, they come to my house at times to play halo, but sometimes they play other games.

Sorry, long post.

Edit: ...off topic post up there :|, to answer the question, I am still a kid, but I don't really act that kiddish, but I don't like people my age to be around me, because of the way they act nowadays.

You don't understand how boring most kids think of me... Haha. It may be sad, but it's as honest as I can get.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
