Whats one thing you like about your town and one thing you hate? one thing i like about my town is there's hardly any crime in my town at all. Except fore some teenagers braking into cars and stealing stuff or stealing stuff off of peoples property. There are people who get busted with drugs also thats it. Thats the only thing thats bad in my town. The good things about my town is its a good place for kids to go to school. The cop's do a real good job at keeping crime low. They keep the town neat and clean as soon as a trashey building pops up or somebody is not taking care of there yard and its trashy they atomatically take care of the problem.

Well what I like is that I live in a city so everything is close and there is lots to do but what I don't like is everyone wants to be a gangster out here and make a name for themself. Too much drama and people getting killed over it.

Well I'm pretty new to mine, but from what I've seen so far is that crime is kinda high so thats icky. But The worst part about it is that its big. It takes almost 45 minutes to an hour to get to the other side of town. Nice thing is that its got a lot, I love the fact that I can go to the main library branch for my county and its only 15 minutes away.

I live in a very small town (just over 600 people). So what I like is the fact that it is a small town. The people for the most part are nice and respectful of everyone else, crime is relatively low. We still get the occasional wannabe gangsters from the local school that think they are tougher than they really are, but sooner or later the other kids get sick of it and put them in their place. The thing I absolutely hate about it is also that it is a small town. This means there is nothing to do. There is no place to go hang out with your friends, unless you want to go to the local American Legion. There is nothing to do at night besides sit at home, or drive to the next town and try and find something to do, which unfortunately is another small town so the options are still pretty slim.

I love my town¬_¬
I like that it has a lot of places with grass and trees and the little forest out of the town.
But I hate that some people try to sell drags to little kids

Instead of doing the s***ty city I'm at right now just outside the gate here on Ft. Hood, I'll talk about the city I'm from- Eagan, MN.

Eagan is a large suburb of the St. Paul/Minneapolis area, a long with several other cities. A "Minnesota Star City". After the census is completed I'm sure the population signs will go from over 63,000 to around 75,000 people. Eagan is a very, very nice city. It has both a lot urban areas ("Town Center" market place, movie theaters, activity centers, high-class restaurants and shops, malls, water park, Life Time Fitness, business district) and a lot of nature areas, filled with forests, lakes and ponds, long bike trails, and plenty of parks. Crime there is very low. The police do a good job of keeping Eagan safe. During the winters, the plows are great at removing snow in a timely manner. If it snows over night you can be sure they'll come out early the in the morning before traffic builds up, which is a necessity because traffics gets ugly near the interstate. Some awesome things about its location: from the edge of the city on Hwy 77 it is only 5 minutes from the Mall of America in Bloomington. I've been there a lot and know the place like the back of my hand. From my house its 15 minutes. Not to far from there in another part, where I used to work, by Hwy 494 it's only 4 minutes to the Minneapolis International Airport, which itself is only 1 mile away from the Mall of America. Talk about convenience. St. Paul is only 15 minutes away. Minneapolis is 25 from where I live.

I have a lot of memories from Eagan. I've lived there for 18 years and and certain things about it have places in my heart. It's changed a lot since I first moved there and it continues to grow. The schools are nice and clean, kids have safety guards to help them cross the street. Great place to raise a family. In fact, my friend showed me a site last year of best places to live in America. In it, Eagan was voted #1 for the best city in Minnesota to raise a family. I can agree with them.

I honestly don't have anything I dislike about Eagan. Life is good. The far away view of the towers in Minneapolis is great I guess the most troublesome thing would have to be the traffic congestion on I35 E North in the morning. Especially with snow on the ground. But once you make it past a certain point on either side it lightens up.

I live in Surrey, In British Columbia, on the west coast of Canada. For the past few years, it's been extremely overdeveloped, with every bit of spare land being leveled and crammed full of 1500 square foot houses that cost more than half a million dollars, at the cheapest. Every tree is being torn down, with little to none being planted back. None of the roads are being fixed, expanded, or improved, and there's such heavy traffic now due to the overpopulation that it can take half an hour to try somewhere that used to be seven minutes away. When I first moved here, my house was surrounded by forest and farmland. Now I'm surrounded by concrete and street lights, and I live in a cul-de-sac, even though I've lived in the same house for 18 years. Because so many cars drive over the roads, the roads are all beaten up and cracked and there's unfilled potholes everywhere, that the city barely ever gets around to fixing. They've been putting in new phone lines, and said to expect the lines to be down for 5 - 10 minutes. The lines have now been down for two days. The city has been doing such a terrible job on making sure everything runs well and efficient, and it seems all they're doing is making money. I don't really like where I live anymore

I live in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania (the turning point of the civil war). When i was a kid it was just a town, but during my lifetime i've seen it grow nearly into a small city.

Likes: I know the whole place and its surrounding areas perfectly and how to get around everywhere. We have just about every single restaurant here that you could think of, sometimes 2 or 3 of them (such as Mcdonalds and stuff). The battlefield and all the monuments and history everywhere are pretty cool, not to mention we "supposedly" have ghosts EVERYWHERE. Tons and tons of ghosts. LOL. Overall, I love Gettysburg and it will always be my home no matter where I end up in life.

Dislikes: TOURISTS!!! When it's nice out they're EVERYWHERE!! They can't drive. They're ALWAYS in the way. They walk around our streets oblivious to the vehicles trying to drive. One other thing: What tourists don't know is everywhere they go they're only a few streets away from slummy areas with drug dealers selling crack. A few wrong turns and they can end up in a bad neighborhood. The police have been working on that problem for most of my life. Lately, in the last few years though, there's been alot of busts and I think the problem has at least been somewhat reduced.

There's probably alot more likes and dislikes but those are the ones that came to mind first.
