You have a lot of depricated code in there, which is actually okay because Vizzed uses the HTML 4.0 dtd, but in interests of forward compatibility and accessibility you should change your tables to divs, and use rgba instead of moz-opacity. But that's just on the code side of it. The design is actually very nice, I like it a lot.

Ok. I know this layout is crap. I'm just using it as an example. Does anyone know how I can modify my code so that this stretches into one big picture instead of tiling a ton of little pictures? This is the code I use at the beginning (for the background) right now.

BNuge : If you stretch that image, it will look awful. It's so tiny that stretching it to 800px will just make it pixelated and hard to see. You'd need to trace it in a vector painting program like Inkscape.

Now, in general, there is no way to stretch the background image, without changing the actual size of the physical image. However, you could put a div in the background with an img tag that has width and height properties. That would make it large and in charge, but you'd have to do some hokery-pokery to make the next, inset div line up right.

Typically it's better to just use images at the size they actually are.

How would you go about doing that? I'm actually trying to stretch an animated GIF. I can't resize it on my computer because that increases the file size and I can't have it too big or I won't be able to use it for a layout. GIMP is the only program I have that can resize animated GIFs. It doesn't have a feature that I know of that can expand the dimensions of an animated GIF without increasing the file size.
