the_casualty : Oh cool dude. neat way of separating it. seeing your last few post layouts has really further pushed me to try something original though you kinda already took rounded corners, not sure if you used css(3) though

If you could shrink it to 800px wide, that would be perfect. If that's too small, then get it as small as you can manage. Some people's screens only go up to 800px wide, so when there's a larger layout than their screen, their screen gets stretched and they have to scroll sideways to read other people's posts.

My layout and my brother's is set to 100% width so those ones stretch as far as the page is stretched, but no more than that. You might notice the right hand side of my layout is just a continuance of the background. I did that on purpose so that people who only have screens that stretch to 800px layouts wouldn't miss anything. My brother's layout stretches to up to 2000px wide before it defaults to a red background.

Hooray hackish layout!

Basically, it make use of margins and images to do its dirty work. Now my posts look different from everyone else's.

I got the margins from Stark, a person on another board that I visit sometimes. A lot of the other stuff has been edited by me though.
