Well it's not so much of a joke what me and casu are doing.

We are going the rest of this month without it yes, but we are doing it to protest a lot of those really bad layouts.

Like...

-ones with post headers
-one with images that don't tile well
-ones with unreadable text
-general bad design

The reason the background isn't showing is probably because of one of these reasons

-you entered the wrong url
-you didn't keep the quotes around the url
-The site doesn't allow hotlinking
-You messed up the background url code.
