Personally I would have to go with Nintendo hands down. They have done so much for the video game industry over the last 20+ years. I mean, if it wasn't for them, where would video games be now?

You also have to give honorable mention to the great arcade companies like SNK and Sega. They made a LOT of the best Arcade games ever made in my opinion.

Nintendo is the only company that is successful in making consoles and video games other than the sony company. Also, all the consoles were great like the Snes and Wii.

I love my xbox, but Nintendo is THE only original manufacturer still making things.

Nintendo. Think about it. After the video game crash of 82'-83', nobody was making videogames. But, on one faithful day in 1985, Nintendo rose from the rubble. They had a good friend, Mario, by their side. They beat the evil E.T game and showed the world there was still hope in the videogame market. If it weren't for Nintendo, there WOULD BE NO Xbox or Sony. Thank you, Mario.

Nintendo (as I have heard) is the company to have saved the video game industry, with the creation of Super Mario Brothers, when video games lost all popularity in the mid 1980s due to too many companies producing too many low-quality games for too many consoles.

Today, Nintendo still works to bring us the best they can. Nintendo's Wii console gives us innovative controls, impressive graphics (for a one that did not want to take the extra step), and personal creativity (Miis, and everything related). On top of all this, the Wii has been affordable in comparison to other consoles (no offense intended, it is just my opinion). But it does not end here.

Nintendo will soon be releasing the first hand-held gaming system with 3D graphics (and no glasses required).

If I had to choose one, it would be Sony. But I do own each current generation console. (xbox360, Wii).

my favorite would me Microsoft because they make epic games like fallout, halo, and mass effect 2.

Although I personally feel that the PS3 is the best right now, I feel that as far as history is concerned, Nintendo is the best. It gave us the foundations of all that we have today in so many different genres...

Nintendo has good games but they keep on pushing Mario, Donkey Kong, and Pokemon.

Light Knight : I think its kinda good but it gets annoying finding a new pokemon game coming out like every 2 months.

I'd have to say Nintendo. I mean, the nostalgia of their old games is still fun and fresh to this day. They basically revolutionized the gaming market after the big crash of the 80's. And yet they still create awesome and wholesome games and consoles to to this date. Even after recycling their old franchises, the games released in them are new and fresh. Still, I'll have to give credit to Sony by creating the first successful CD based console (PS1) and Microsoft for spawning one of the most well known game franchises to date (Halo), but their games just don't seem as nostalgic as Nintendo's ones. Plus, it seems like everytime Nintendo releases a new console/handheld, it always haves something totally new to the gaming market. For example, the Wii had the first primary motion gaming control scheme. The 3DS will have the first 3D display in a gaming console without glasses.

I'm going to have to go with Nintendo because there always updated with their consoles.

Nintendo!!!Even though it repeated Mario over and over,they made remakes of games like Donkey Kong Country.Many things are happening at nintendo like "The Lost Kirby Project"
and the 3DS.I'm expecting great thing in the future from nintendo.

Nintendo is definetly my favorite. You can't go wrong with Pokemon and Super Mario Bros.

While I grew up on Nintendo, I have to go with Sony on this one. The PSX was a marvel that came out of nowhere to sweep the Gaming World off its feet. The PS2 is still used in many American and Japanese homes, and is widely considered to be the greatest console of all time. The PS3 combines games, Blu-Ray, internet, media, and so much more into a single package and does it all very well.

The best video game company in my opinion would have to be Activision, or Infinity Ward. Yes I play shooters hehe.

I'm going with Sony on this one, mostly because of what they have done with the current generation of console. I own all three current generation consoles, and mostly play ps3, because out of the box it has everything you need; Wii-i still need LAN cable adapter, ps3 free online.
