I'm sad this didn't pick up at all cause it's definitely something I would of been interested in had it gained interest I'll definitely come back and reply if this ever picks up steam but looking at how long it's been since this was posted my hopes for that aren't high.

i got the game as well, and sure I am in too. you can do as double elim style with 8. i do own super smash bros ultimate, mario kart 8 deluxe and mario golf super rush is a 2 player mode on 1 end. there is a way to do 8 person tournament and I do have exp for hosting this type of tournaments, too. and i do have site with brackets stuff. if we need it.
